Cruz is opportunistic to the bone. Real snake this guy. I doubt he has any principles at all - he just says whatever he thinks will get him ahead in the currect news cycle.
But what surprised me is the reaction coming from many pro-life groups:
These people have sacrificed moral clarity for...
I agree. This position is logically and morally consistent, yet Pro-life movement thinks it undermines their cause. Goes to show that the best way to talk about abortion if you're a Republican is avoid talking about it at all.
Pretty sure driving women voters away wasn't his plan. He seems genuinly confused about the issue, and so am I.
Is punishing women for abortion really wrong, or is it something pro-lifers aren't prepared to argue in public, because it will "drive women voters away"?
Trump gets ripped for his comments on abortion, suggesting women who have abortions should face "some form of punishment". The funny thing pro-lifers are trashing him too. It would seem that pro-life orthodoxy is to treat women as blameless victims in all this.
This position doesn't make sense...
By which he means Trump won't send US army to fight another stupid war for Israel. What more do you need?
I wish Rand would have been more like Trump in debates. He allowed neocons to intimidate him.
Trump is a populist demagogue, which means he probably don't mean everything he says. But the important thing is that Trump is his own man - he isn't owned by Sheldon Adelson and Goldman Sachs, like everyone else in this race. Even Rand Paul was courting Sheldon Adelson (did him no good). Trump...
Pleased to see more people here support Trump, than Cruz or any other candidate. Trump is the only one who has the courage to talk about the problem of immigration, which is the defining issue of our time.
