Well, I was thinking about it. He thinks he owns the nomination at this point. Hell, he's getting ready to campaign for the general election. Millions of dollars and a ton of time would be spent on this.
But, then, he goes to the convention... And he doesn't win on the first ballot. Many bound delegates become unbound, and they move to the second ballot. His heart is beating at two hundred beats a minute, and he's sweating buckets. The second ballot fails to get a nominee, so a third round starts with more delegates becoming unbound. And then... Paul becomes the GOP nominee.
What do you think McCain would do? Start screaming, pulling his hair out, attack people, attempt to attack Paul, get a heart attack, a stroke... Perhaps a few 'Nam flashbacks...
