The sad part (and my point) is that approximately 30% of the people commenting think that the video is made from screen captures from a video game.

This just confirms my opinion that all of the violent video games being produced and consumed in our country are intended to blur the lines between fantasy and reality.

Producing the super-warrior of tomorrow, today.

It makes me wonder if everyone who enlists realizes what they're getting into?

Please forgive me if you think that this is in the wrong category.....it was pretty hard to place.

Haha superwarriors of tomorrow? Most "gamers" are dorks who don't get out much. They couldn't last a night in the woods let alone survive in a real war. Pathetic. How many "gamers" would piss themselves if they had to go fight in Iraq or Afghanistan with REAL bullets flying at them? War is hell! Kids nowadays have NO fucking clue what war is. They have no clue what real violence is. Guns turn pussies into tough guys plain and simple.

You my friend are mistaken. Many if not most of the Soldiers and Marines I know are gamers who have been playing hard core 1st person shooters for half their lives.

Blur the lines between reality and fantasy and the shooter will pull the trigger out of conditioned reaction. You don't have time nor can you afford to deal with the emotion on the battle field so you bottle it up and add to the PTSD.

Why do you think the military uses video games in their training now?

You have a keen eye...

More of our social engineering or as Charles Fort would say, "farming the goyim."

“There are two governments in the United States today. One is visible. The other is invisible. The first is the government that citizens read about in their newspapers and children study about in their civics books. The second is the interlocking, hidden machinery…The Invisible Government is not a formal body. It is a loose, amorphous grouping of individuals and agencies…” (David Wise & Thomas Ross, “The Invisible Government, NY: Random House, 1964)

The control of the masses indeed possesses an exoteric level, the illusion of which is taught in civics classes and played out before us in the media in the form of elections, campaigns and public laws. The far more important side of government, however, is the esoteric, which at the highest level involves a manipulation of the mass consciousness with a watchful eye, by a network of psychological power brokers, the “Invisible Government of Wise and Ross,” later described by Walter Bowart in his 1978 classic, “Operation Mind Control” as the “Cryptocracy.” The Cryptocracy is not a myth, it seeks to transform humanity through an alchemical processing of the mass consciousness or Group Mind which involves various tests and corresponding responses through channels linked to secret societies. The result is both psychological and cultural control; but more importantly, transformation. The Cryptocracy has essentially kept the mind of the masses cooking in a cauldron like a Renaissance alchemist, and occasionally tastes, adds ingredients, and stirs.

Oh, pleeeaaze!

"The violent video games" aren`t made for any sinister reason. They are produced by private profit companies. They are produced to make money.

And the tag "violent video game" is ridicilous and hysterical in itself. Violence? What violence? Where is the victim? The polygons on your screen aren`t real. That is not violence. It`s entertainment and isn`t real. As any gamer will tell you.

The funny thing is who has been the most vocal opponent of the "violent video games"? I belive it is one Joe Lieberman. The super hawk. The liberal neo-con.

I think you should take that as food for thought. Joe Lieberman is fingering Sony and Nintendo as the devils and you`re buying it? Last time I checked Sony didn`t go around bombing countries. It was Joe Lieberman.

This whole anti-video games crusade has a huge Tipper Gore feeling all over it.

Let me guess by the way, you haven`t played all that many "violent video games" have you?

Yea, I know the type. I met a number of the sort playing on the net. But it has nothing to do with video games. Or any blurring of the line nonsense.

They are the people that already started with a fixation on guns and all things military. They seeked that sort of thing in 1st Person Shooters from the begining and would have always ended up in the military. It wasn`t no games that turned them into gung-ho maniacs.

It`s like saying watching Godfather will turn you into a mafiosi. It won`t. But anyone that has a fixation on the mob will make sure he watches it.

I can tell because if you had you would have realised there are some right gems among them.

You liked V for Vendetta?? You will love Deus Ex. A game where you actually fight the NWO.

You liked All Quiet on the Western Front? You will love Operation Flashpoint. A game so realistic in it`s presentation of the battlefield it makes pacifists out of normal people.

You liked Braveheart? After playing Total War maybe you won`t. Because it will make you realise just how bloody a medival battlefield really was.

You liked Red Dawn? Try Freedom Fighters.
