Excerpt:
""If a bunch of crazy people can raise $5 million in a day for Ron Paul Matrix rEVOLutions Ayn Rand '08, we should be able to do the same for Obama," wrote "HatchinBrooklyn," at "One Million Strong," a progressive community Weblog dedicated to tracking the conversation and online support for Obama.

The comments echo the admiration (envy of?) for the Paul grassroots' achievement professed recently by many in the liberal blogosphere, including DailyKos founder Markos Moulitsas."

Stop trying to increase your website's traffic by deception. The title of this thread references an article in Wired, so please provide the link to that article here, not a link to your own personal website.

Asked whether he was inspired by Texas congressman and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul's supporters, who recently raised $4.2 million in 24 hours, Macchaiah said: "Not really -- I think Ron Paul's people are inspired by what we're doing online."

Riiiiiiiiiiight...

Riiiiiiiiiiight...

People always project their problems on other people. If you want to know what a group is doing wrong or poorly at, you see what they're attacking other people for.

So, Obama's people attack our power on the internet because they know that we're leading the way. If Huckabee had more internet support than we did, Obama's people would be attacking him, saying how Huckabee was taking ideas Obama. The fact that they choose to attack us proves that we are the leader.

I said it before and I'll say it again:

OP please link directly to the article, your site is not very user friendly. Not only that, but why post a link to an article that isn't posted in its entirety? It just adds an extra link I have to navigate to and then click. Cut out the middleman.

If Ron Paul weren't in the race, I think Obama would rule the internet. Problem for Obama is that Ron Paul is sucking away at his youth vote all the time, not the other way around.

Obama lied for power. It's too late to take that back. It just needs to be shown to someone for them to convert now.

This will be interesting. Obama probably has more actual support than anybody at this point.

3 days isn't a whole lot of time, though...

unless you have the CFR e-mail directory. :D

I reckon they'll raise half a million or a million.

He has 80 million anyway, if he needs more money than he is a hopeless cause.

They continue to make the mistake of dismissing us all as a bunch of crackpots. I can't wait till the primaries when the news shocks the world.

:D

Obama has a lot of support from young people who have no ability to donate. There are only 131 people pledging to donate on Nov. 16 to the Obama campaign at the time I am posting this. The TeaParty07 website has over 11,000 pledges and we're still over a month away.

Jwaksman. Deception?? It's only one extra click and over 700 readers here (including you) have read this posted item so far because I posted it. There have been many instances in which I have posted important items others have missed (some they would have found eventually, some they never would). Are you helping Ron Paul by driving me away and missing this information??

So, why not remove the one extra quote? Members have brought forward potential concerns that the blogs you use spam them with IE flood when they go through your link. Personally, I want to get to the news as quickly as possible. Why do you insist that we travel through your blog? Do you make money with transits? Is it merely to get traffic watches up on your blog? How do you address the spam/popup concerns? Why not have transparency and just link straight to the article and have an additional comment showing your comments are at your blog. Then, you have shared the intended article and given the people <us> the CHOICE to go and take part in your blog.

Valid question. I am helping Ron Paul (and this forum) and my site at the same time. Many of my posted items get over 1,000 views from this forum, and most over 500.

So, why not remove the middle man and give us the direct link? You can put your blog in your signature and those who choose to go to it can. Free market. Provide the item wanted without attempting to lead us through your way? Anyway, I have said my peace. I will add you to the ignore list if you continue after the requests and complaints have been filed.
