I assume that he is talking about how the supporters of the other candidates ganged up to form a delegate block because individually they couldn't beat the Paul supporters one on one. What exactly are you talking about?
Was this tactic not expected?
I assume that he is talking about how the supporters of the other candidates ganged up to form a delegate block because individually they couldn't beat the Paul supporters one on one.
Expected? What exactly would you suggest people do to stop all the other candidates from pooling their votes to beat Ron Paul?
Bullshit. It's called an assault on democracy. It's called smart politics.
It's called smart politics. The other side doesn't just sit around waiting to get beat. They adjust their tactics to try to remain in the game. In this case, they figured out that getting some delegates was better than getting none.
In the end, they got more votes than we did. That's the bottom line.
And after licking my wounds, in district 5 I think it is pretty awesome that we definitely have 4 of 15 delegates (one cinched the #2 spot) and we are all unknows in a sea of established GOP.
So even with all of their maneuverings and strategy, they still couldn't keep 4 of us out.
And, with provisionals, we could wind up with 6-8 delegates in district 5... .8 would give us a majority and send 3 delegates to the national convention in my district.
Way to go Jenn. How do we beat them at their own game?
