Why doesn't Ron Paul run in 2012? This way we can keep the ball rolling forward.

I think Ron Paul should keep active. He should somehow continue his campaign. If this race is lost, oh well, keep trying. Keep motoring along. Keep building on the momentum. Keep getting more email addresses from new recruits. This way his chances of wining next time around will be increased ten fold. He should also bring his son Rand Paul into the race with him. This way if Ron doesn't have the strength to continue 4 years from now, his son could take over, and Perhaps Ron Paul could be vice President. (This would only happen if Ron Paul felt that he didn't physically have the strength to continue.)

If Ron Paul quits, I fear the movement will lose 80% of it strength, for we will become "Divided and Conquered". We will be going in a dozen different directions. Ron Paul was the one man who unified us all. Please Ron Paul keep the group together somehow, and keep us moving forward to defeat the NeoCon Zionists.

I think Ron Paul is now turning his attention towards his Campaign for Liberty, which is going to be a HUGE project...running for President isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world, and he has so much on his plate already. Plus...that's pretty far off, so who knows what the situation will be four years from now. :)

For the same reason he didn't take the Libertarian party's invitation to be their nominee. He does not want the movement to be about one man. He knows he started a chain reaction and knows that what has begun is bigger than him and it needs to not be one-man-centric or it can be beheaded.

Why can't people get passed the fact that this revolution needs to expand from ONE candidate. Ron Paul is not the savior of the world but rather a messenger passing on the baton for US to now continue this revolution until we win.

I hope we have 30+ rp style candidates in 2012 to be honest. I hope there are plenty of constitutionally backed candidates to choose from that the dems and OTHER so called republicans will have no chance.

Get passed the one man mentality.

This revolution will only get stronger because it is BEYOND ron paul now and that is how it should be. He is moving to the education side of things which we will do as well and gives us 4 years to educate as many people as possible for the next election and I doubt it will be ron paul up there at 76-77 years old trying to run for President BUT rather a younger ron paul STYLE candidate to continue this fight.

I hope to see 100s of Ron Pauls running for office in the future.

Be one of them!

Reagan was 77 when he left office.... so your doubtis ill founded. Age is not a factor; he looks 55... & acts it too.

Personally, I do NOT think he would do what he has done, unless he planned to run again for 2012... If he didn't plan too, I believe he'd go all out - independent etc.. because it would be the only hope left for the country. 2012 isn't the end of the world though, America's always going to have to give the appearance of Democracy, free and fair elections etc.. But when the people want, change - and the TIME for an idea has come - it CANNOT be stopped.. He has remained respectful endlessly. He hasn't gone against the GOP; they won't be able to blame him.. The only real way is too take over the beast in the next 4 years... SHOW the people, why the things that are happening; are..

Yes his campaign for Presidency in 08 is over. But thats just phase 1. His CAMPAIGN for LIBERTY is not over, it's just beginning.

In 2012 Ron will be 76. Perhaps he has other plans for HIS life, and remaining years.

If you think they made an issue of his age this time...wait until 2012. It wouldn't bother me, but I'll bet it will be a major technique to push him down.

If Ron runs in 2012, I will vote for him.

Of all the member's of congress, even at 76, he'll probably be in the best shape.

I agree with that.

But, we still need a decent President in 2012.

I nominate Ron Paul.

The whole movement is now leaving its self wide open for hijacking. The NeoCons, like they have done in the past, could simply come in, PRETEND to be Ron Paul types of Candidates, lie to the public, and continue the plan for the New World Order.

Ron Paul was great because of his proven track record. What track record are the new people going to have? Why will the people believe them, when they will look like like all the other politicians of the past who have screwed the people.

I really think Ron Paul should continue moving forward with his campaign. He should bring in Rand Paul to help out.

Remember the NeoCon Zionists love to hijack movements. If I were them I would infiltrate the Ron Paul movement, now that it is wide open, and silently subvert the message. This is how they captured the Republican Party and Democratic party in the first place. Ron Paul would not be too old, as Regan was about the same age when he secured his second term.

The way things are going, there might not be an election in 2012 because the Internet is waking people up rather quickly. So they can not allow it to continue, other wise they will end up being exposed. If Marshall law is declared, they can suspend the elections and the Internet indefinitely. Here is a 5 minute video on the recent Presidential Executive Orders that have been passed taking away all our Freedoms.

People could definitely try and use the moniker "Ron Paul Republican" to further themselves in the movement. That being said, you won't have any potential candidates with a track record like Ron --- he's truly unique.

Our best hope is that after a thorough vetting process, we can at least find a few that truly and genuinely aspire to follow in the large footsteps of Ron in Congress.
