Why doesn't Rand Paul run for office?

We all want to know how to spread the liberty movement beyond Ron Paul -- what better way than to get someone from the Ron Paul family in the House? This seems like a no brainer -- we can't clone Ron Paul, but Rand Paul is pretty darn close.

ask him.

If RP doesn't go all the way in 2008, I think both he and his son Rand should move to NH and run for office there.

Maybe Rand can take over Ron's Texas Congressional district after he is sworn in as President.

I agree he needs to be a politician for a little bit and show the same level of character as his father in order to be taken seriously... hell look at bush jr. his dad made him tag along so that he could have a place in government...

I think that whether he wins the presidency or not, Dr. Paul should move to NH and be governor (no problem winning). Much of his philosophy can't expressed and implemented as President because of the limited federal constitutional executive powers.

I'd probably vote for Rand. He's sounded pretty good in the few interviews I've seen with him. Very similar to his dad. Looks like Ron did a good job raising him!
