Who's Responsible For The Notorious Inflation Lies?

As Americans watch their bills relentlessly rise, they're repeatedly told by official sources that there is no inflation, or 'not enough' inflation. According to the Fed, prices aren't rising fast enough! They've yet to hit their "inflation target." So which is it? Are your own eyes lying to you? Or are the bureaucrats refusing to come clean?

No worries about inflation. A Wall St. insider said today that cheap labor and high unemployment will guarantee that inflation does not get out of hand. This echoes what Alan Greenspan said many years ago about outsourcing and cheaper labor.

Cheap labor has for decades been the offset to monetary inflation. Print as much money as you want, as long as you can keep labor costs low. What could possibly go wrong?

You could see a backlash against immigration in the population, and wind up looking for an excuse to shut the economy down to drive labor prices low.

The biggest drawback is that the purchasing power of the average worker is being devastated, as there is inflation in other areas but no inflation in their wages. Is it ethical for those in charge to pursue a policy that mainly enriches themselves, the top 1%, and to a certain extent the top 10%, at the expense of everyone else?

Drawback? For whom?

Is it ethical for those in charge to pursue a policy that mainly enriches themselves, the top 1%, and to a certain extent the top 10%, at the expense of everyone else?

Ethical? Is that an English word? Can you find me more than four people in D.C. who know what it means?
