Today is Veteran's Day.

In addition to risking their lives for our own, they support Dr. Paul over any other candidate. They have given of their time, their lives and their fortune.

What have we done for them?

On this day, please remember our veterans and do whatever you have to do to extend a word of thanks. Nothing is more important on this day. Not fundraising, not sign waving, NOTHING.

Please stand up for those who have stood up for us, since this country was founded.

Make Dr. Paul proud. Make yourself proud.

I am a veteran, so I thanked myself. :D Seriously though, I thank all my fellow vets.

Thank you, Alien. I think we have more than a few active service and veterans on this board.

One of our own moderators, Foofighter, in fact. Thank you Foo.

WillinMiami is another. Thank you for your service, Will.

Foofighter, I had no idea. Thank you for protecting us against foo. ;)

I'm a Vet. The plant that I operate has truck drivers coming in and out all the time. There is one couple that drives together and they actually gave me money. It definitely surprised me. It still feels sort of weird getting money from an individual for just being a veteran.

For what? The standing Army should go to the dustbin. The last time people from north america fought for or protected freedom the year was 1865! I know this is an unpopular opinion even among us "revolutionaries" but I'm sick of the culture of worshiping the military (the bottom ranks of which, when they're not drafted effectively contract themselves to be slaves).

Too neat! What's with the "just"? In my book, there is nothing "just" about risking your life for your fellow countrymen and our Constitution. Thank you, Trassin.

And for those of you who might need a reminder. Dr. Paul has been all about honoring our veterans, in addition to being one himself.

Wow, elegant counter point there WillInMiami, you certainly did convince me. :(

I'm neither trying to be elegant nor am I tyring to convince you of anything. The sole purpose of my post was to express my contempt for people like you.

If you need convincing that US soldiers volntarily pay a HUGE price for your freedom, you are beneth contempt and deserve nothing more than to be bitch-slapped.

I make no apologies for coming off as angry, violent, foul-mouthed, or short-tempered. I have no patience for the kind of person that says such ignorant shit.

Hey Will, Trassin is a Vet too. It was John in Sweden, who chose today to proclaim his belief against standing armies.

I have Thanked my close friends & family members for fighting for our freedom. And most of all I said prayers to the ones that are not here to tell their ways. I'm proud of them all!!! Creator Bless

Called my Dad, thanked him for being a Vet, but also to bitch about the Cleveland Browns throwing yet another football game (I hate the Steelers).

John, I have some thoughts about standing armies too, but I'm not sure what that has to do with thanking those veterans and active military who have risked their lives, because they believed they were protecting our Constitution and their countrymen.

If you do not understand that, John, you don't understand much about Dr. Paul. As he has spent his career standing up for veterans.

Thanks, you guys!!

I want to thank you all for keeping the faith in the Constitution! We military service members defend the Constitution so you can use it!! ;)

Thanks for fighting the good fight from the homefront!
