1) Ron Paul- Next Thomas Jefferson
2) Vincent Bugslosi- Outlined plan to prosecute George Bush for murder
3) Dennis Kucininch-Spoke out agianst Iraq War
4) Mike Gravel-Ended militiary draft with fillibuster and spoke out agianst Iraq War
5) Irwin Schiff- Spoke out about income tax being illegal and advised people to not pay it
6) Burt Rutan- Created first commercial space line
7) Richard Branson- Financed commerial space line
8) Paul G Allen- Fincanced commercial space line
9) Bob Barr- Protected individual right to bear arms by filing brief
10) Cyrl Wrecht- Medical doctor, lawyer, and public official who considers JFK being assinated by conspiracy

Those are my heroes. The "active" resisters, the ones putting it on the line for real.

Some names off the top of my head:

Luke Rudowski
Ed and Elaine Brown

There are many others, some ruined financially, others are "political prisoners".

When the time comes I only hope to have their level courage.

Irwin Schiff and Burt Rutan put their money where their mouth is. Irwin Schiff didn't pay income taxes since 1973 then went on tv telling everyone he didn't and urging them not to pay the taxes.

Burt Rutan actually built his own space craft and sent a man to space. He also has unvieled another space craft which is spaceship 2 which he is going to fly this summer. He has 85,000 people signed up to fly to space in 2009. He could have simply just lobbied for Congress to end NASA but he did alot more than that.
