I still have some respect for Lou. But it wanes by the day. I like Lou a lot, and I think him and Pat Buchanan are the only honest pundits in the business, but Lou continues to lose my support, after not opening up to Ron Paul. The man who fights against the very problems Lou Dobbs rails about.

100% in agreement with you! He is an egomaniac, who thinks he knows more about what is good for the "middle class" than we know. Funny, no one ever mentions the poor people. Guess they don't count at all, eh? Anyway, Lou Dobbs is for biometric controls and a national ID card, and for electronic controls on the border, which are all very dangerous for all of us. I've also been a longtime fan (7 years), who is now greatly disappointed. Every time he begins talking about the candidates I have to change the channel. I vote against him on his online polls just out of spite.
Today I believe I heard him say he supports the stimulus package, and rate cuts.

Are we sure that Lou even knows who Paul is? Lou's big thing is immigration, so Paul and Hunter were really right up his alley. He's critical about the elites and special interests, and he's also critical of our support of Israel and anti-gun control. That said, he supports government regulations and the Real ID (but I could've sworn I heard him talking about the NAU once...maybe I'm making that up? I dunno...)

Therefore, I'd imagine he's either in la-la land and doesn't know who Paul is (despite having him on his own damn show...) or he isn't allowed to talk about him, because despite Paul not being his "ideal" candidate, I imagine he'd notice how different he is. Then again, he could also just be a phony, as some have said.

I used to like Lou but, here lately, he's showing his true colors. Also, I think he's testing the waters for an Indepedent run himself as the 'only' anti-illegal immigration advocate. Of course, he knows that Dr. Paul was right about the Texas Trans-Corridor and about NAFTA and the NAU becaue he's talked about them all so much himself. When the MSM pundits were calling Dr. Paul a kook when he brought up the TTC and the SPP during a debate, I fully expected Lou to come out in Dr. Paul's defense on his next show. When that didn't happen, I began to really see Lou for what he evidently is: a self-serving egomaniac that doesn't walk the walk that he preaches.
