McCain in talks with Ron Paul for backing
Gunning for valuable but loyal supporter list
ST. PAUL, Minn. |
The McCain campaign, acting through the Republican National Committee, has been negotiating with Rep. Ron Paul to win his support and acquire the names of his sympathizers among the 4,607 delegates and alternates at the Republican National Convention, according to a senior aide to the Texas congressman.

"his libertarian brand of Republicanism"
What a crock. Paul is libertarian like Hitler was 'progressive'.
Sorry, the favored candidate of anti-semites, white supremecists, 9/11 troofers, and right/left nuts of every stripe doesn't need the GOP legitimacy for his nonsense.
Walk away John.
For you chumps out there getting sweet and "going soft" on McCain because of the Palin pick, or for whatever reason, just a gentle reminder of what the neo-con GOP hijackers have to say about people that have the audacity to suggest that government follow the Constitution.
You people validate another four years of this and you deserve everything you are going to get, including the nice steaming pile of shit dropped on your head by the Grotesque Old Party's establishment, while they laugh at you.
I swear I'm half tempted to vote O-bomb-a just because of smug assholes like the above neocon.
