What if it was just a dozen spammers in basements calling Congress?

What I mean to say is, without Ron Paul waking people up from their couches, I wonder if this bailout would have failed? You all had exercised muscles trying to overcome the media blackout, so it was second nature to call, email and fax Congress, something other segments of the population may not be as comfortable doing.

Such a small percentage of people call their Congressmen, that if all Ron Paul supporters did, it would have been overwhelming.

So, did a dozen spammers defeat this bailout from their basement? If so, we can thank the media for making us work for the little attention we were able to get Ron Paul during the primaries. Now you're unstoppable. There is Hope for America!

My wife and I have personally called our Representative and Senators twice a day (one to the local office, one to the DC office) for the last 6 days.

i dont think it was 10 spammers but i agree if it hadnt been for rp's campaign this would have slid right through and we may not have even heard much about it

they can try to marginalize us all they want but with as big as the movement got thanx to rons inspiring principaled political career waking us up the liberty movement is now part of the national discourse

Nah I think people actually got pissed when they watched The Nightly News.

I think all of us blasting our friends/relatives with emails saying "CALL YOUR REP" definitely helped, but this revolt was extremely broadbased in my opinion.

To semi-quote Samuel Adams:

It does not requre a majority, but rather a tireless minority to set brush fires into people's minds.
