What I did today

I think at times we all feel like we are the only one out there pounding the pavement to get Ron Paul's message out. Of course this isn't true, there are people all over the country working very hard to get his message out but that doesn't change the fact of how it feels at times.

So I've created this thread with the goal of any time you get dis-hearted and feel like you are the only one doing anything you can come here and see what others have been up to on a given day.

That being said:

Not an exceptionally active day but I did pass out flyers at two grocery stores and a Walmart.

This old lady (me) joined 3 college students and hit the parking lot with fliers. We got out about 2500 in less than 2 hours. We will do it again!

the past few days:

called a member of my meetup who hasn't been around in awhile. breathed a bit of fire back in his belly with some recent straw poll result news. He'll be at my house making signs Friday.

printed out several articles from http://www.ronpaullibrary.com on various issues, and passed them around work (these are great to have when someone says, for instance 'I like him, but I'm not sure about his stance on abortion'. i say, 'well, he delivered 4000 babies, it's not surprising he's pro-life, but here is an article he wrote about what the executive branch's role is in the abortion issue')

called my mom and apologized for not sending her any of the money i owe her. asked her if she's donating to the campaign. 'No, but you can send your next payment in to him instead of me!!' ** up to $200 **

purchased 20 DVD's from http://www.ronpaulDVD.com and 2000 liberty cards from http://www.ronpaulcards.com to check out quality. If they are good, I will raise money to purchase more and pass them out with the rest of the 'Street Team' division of our meetup.

These 20 DVD's will go to campuses, with about 10 liberty cards in each sleeve, and a note on the front -- FREEDOM IS POPULAR -- PASS IT ON!

My goal is to get 300 flyers passed out today. I already have 50 done but need to get some sleep because I'm working night right now. I'm going to get the last 250 done when I wake up.
