What do you guys think of this site...

Me either, but I'd take it as seriously as a website of any two-bit dictator (including whitehouse.gov)...

I guess I have not been convinced that he is a two-bit dictator. I don't think there is any dispute that he was elected democratically, but that of course doesn't mean he isn't and evil leader. If you have anything to give evidence to what you are saying I would honestly really love to read it.

whats interesting is to note the American posters vs the rest of the world...stark difference...it could be posted by the website itself so we dont know ..."die slowly" what a thing to post...

Yep, there is the occasional positive American post though. It's also interesting to note that the negative comments have not been censored.

Well, you do have to remember that the Iranian supreme counsel disqualified almost anybody from running that had a chance to beat him.

Sources please, don't expect me to take your word for it. Especially with the way you ignored all of my comments in that other thread.

I love this guy. He was blessed with balls of steel, and a head to match.

I'm sure he is just going to disappear again, just like the last time I called him out to backup what he was saying. So many people would say that I am insane for thinking that this guy might not be so bad, I really wish those people would show me something with some credibility.

Um, what? You did know that the Council of Guardians must approve every single presidential candidate before they are allowed to run? Right?

that is true. All it takes is a trip to Wikipedia to find it out, guys.

It disgusts me how so many of my so-called fellow Libertarians are on the jocks of Chavez and Ahmadinejad and Putin on these threads.

^^^ I know, it's really quite shocking how many RP supporters are so disenfranchised with the political establishment that they believe anyone who is perceived by the Bush adminstration as our enemy is a good person.

That is just plain out of touch with reality, if you ask me.

exactamundo. they have no consistency or logic

In fact, the legislative elections in 2007, The Council of Guardians disqualified about 1,700 candidates.

Ahmadinejad ran for office on a platform of economic revival, and a promise to share oil revenues with the general population. Ofcourse he completely failed to do so, and the Iranian economy is gloomy (even with the billions of dollars a month in oil exports). Some experts claim unemployment is as high as 30% in Iran.
