I guess we might be getting that 10 million dollars worth of publicity.

I don't think it's 10 mil yet.....

But I would say ABC world news story was worth at least a mil, because of the tropps supporting ron paul more than every other republican...it was SWEET!

The situation room I would estimate at 500K for Ron to flatten the isolationist crap.

The Today show lauer-russert piece was worth $250K IMO....would've been more with a 2 Minute Ron Paul Interview.

can't wait to see the rest!

My estimates are LOW compared to a super bowl commercial....I'm just being kind to the MSM networks for finally reporting on RP in the light he deserves.

EXTRA KUDOS to ABC......The World News story was AWSOME, that's the stuff that will get Ron Paul elected....love the Troop donation angle...Think how many yellow ribbons you see...now think where we can go if we get every person we see with a yellow ribbon on there car to donate to Ron Paul!

SUPPORT THE TROOPS BY DONATING TO THE CANDIDATE THE TROOPS SUPPORT!

How much money would it be to buy a Superbowl commercial...

<_<

Thats a job for a PAC. The Liberty Superbowl PAC. Get 5 libertarian Republicans ads on the Super Bowl!

like a breath of fresh air

of course, I'm loving the new attention RP is getting. enjoy it while it lasts, for as someone else pointed out in another thread, it will probably only get nasty from here.

Let's not forget front page and red on drudge. It's not MSM really, but it definitely hits a strong contingent of folks we need on our side.

What I would love to see at this point is the 1987 speeches when he was younger saying and believing the exact same philosophy. How about that pic of him in the Houston Astros uniform with the bat. Better yet, someone in the media needs to dig up what Ronald Reagan was saying about money and foreign policy in the early 80`s, he sounded just like RP!!! One of RP videos on youtube has a lot of Reagan in it. Is there any way to send them video material to get the ball rolling?

Cable news is nice and all, but many more people watch the nightly broadcast news.

“Nightly News with Brian Williams” finished ahead of ABC’s “World News with Charles Gibson” last week, the week ended Sept. 30, its first weekly win since August. “Nightly” averaged 7.674 million total viewers to “World’s” 7.655 million total viewers, a difference of just 19,000 viewers. The previous week, NBC trailed by only 36,000 viewers.

CBS’s “Evening News with Katie Couric” lagged far behind at 6.15 million viewers.
-Media Week

By comparison, The Situation Room gets about 200,000 viewers. Getting mentioned on ABC & NBC News is AT LEAST 38x better than getting mentioned by Blitzer on The Situation Room, and we got mentioned ON BOTH.

I really wish Ron was a little more aggressive.

This line would absolutely KILL: "Governor, I supported Ronald Reagan. I served in the federal government with Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan was a friend of mine. Governor, you are no Ronald Reagan."

Romney would be finished. The only reason his game is working is that nobody's pointing out that he's a long way from being a conservative.

I'd love to see the look on Stephanopoulous face when he heard RP q3 numbers.

The poor guy's going to lose every last dollar he has to Ron. Maybe Ron will give him back a bit to live on for a while. The good doctor is a generous man, after all.

Wow! I didn't know The Situation Room number was that low. I bet they got a hell of a bump yesterday and things like that get noticed by other cable outlets. Any coverage involving Ron Paul will increase ratings which increases revenues for them. We are having an effect and much of it is due to getting information from this forum. That's how I found out Ron was going to be on CNN.

It makes me wonder if they are not playing nice like setting up a house of cards, getting everyones attention, just to knock it all down with everyone watching.

Fox News murders all the other networks in the ratings, mostly because they're targeting a demographic (sensationalist viewers and conservatives) rather than just reporting news in general. CNN is trying to copy the sensationalism, but they're not nearly as good at it.

Regardless, all of cable news gets many fewer viewers than broadcast news. This is due to:
1. Not everyone has cable
2. Older people are accustomed to watching the evening news on broadcast
3. Broadcast news is a higher quality package, probably because its easier to fill a half-hour with important news than an entire day and night

This is why we got the huge supporter bump after the ABC debate. Many older people who don't watch cable channels had never heard of Ron Paul before that.
