After we cast our ballots regardless of the outcome, what are your plans going forward? Are you looking ahead that far? Will you cease to be as active or will you surrender?

What will you do?

Myself, I might run for local office or city council here in Decatur,IL.

we have a bunch of morons running city council here who think a 10% food tax in all restaurants is good for business, while they watch business leave this town in droves to the town just 2 miles north of here. Then they ask "why is our tax revenue going down every year?"

These morons need a little injection of common sense, and I think I could bring that to them. Either way, I will speak my mind and let the cards fall where they may.

Sometimes I think were putting too much weight on Ron Paul's shoulders. We must make sure that we become teachers, writers, and even presidents, and keep ths revoluion going-- Forever. Getting Dr. Paul elected is the beginning, not the end

It's a shame that there is only one honest man running this year. We must make sure this NEVER happens again.

Depends whether he wins or not. If he wins, I will work at transforming the Republican party from the inside.

If he doesn't, perhaps a new party of true conservatives should be started and should be targeted at winning local elections first.

I'll be going back to school next year (poli.sci) and looking for a different sort of work;)

After that Ron Paul will take care of the rest.

He is going to need a friendly House and Senate. My Congressman is a neo-con who voted for Iraq, Patriot Act and MCA. I intend to boot him out and win the primary with 15,000 votes in Aug 2008 so I am the Republican on the ticket! He beat a Democrat in 2004 who spent $5.5M with 60% and ran unopposed in 2006.

I will support, vote for and donate money to libertarian and constitution parties as well as any candidate (democrat or republican or whatever) that holds similar views to Ron Paul. I will do this at the state level as well as federal.

we've only just begun....

Electing Ron Paul is only the beginning. The enemies of freedom and the Constitution won't just go away because one man is elected. Remember the slogan that says "Hope for America", not "Utopia for America". The fight will go on.

um.. join organizations... make contacts... maybe run a successful political campaign.

I will be active in my church, Unity Village in MO. I will join NORML when our legal BS is over with and end the prohibition of hemp. I will continue to homeschool my daughter. I will paint and express myself. I will grow fruit trees and enjoy my life. I will always support freedom and deny enslavement.

If he doesnt win, it means we will have had an additional 5 and 1/2 years of Bush-Clinton by the time 2012 rolls around...

I dont see how we can survive that.

2008 will either be our Alamo, or our battle of Trenton....

The final defeat...or the turnimng point of the new revolution

Many of us need to get involved in our respective local and state governments. We need to walk our own talk and stop just looking to the federal government.

Look out -- here come the Ron Paul Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Constitutionalists, Independents, etc. -- running and getting elected to Congress, State Legislatures, etc.

Regardless of outcome, I will cease to be active in any way in the political realm.
