Where are all the Washington Ron Paul Supporters? Lets start getting organized, we still have a while to go until our primary which means more time to get things together! Anyone else living in Washington?

I am the Bellingham Ron Paul Meetup organizer. We organized in July and now we have 60+ members. Our best operation is Freeways to Freedom where we gather on the overpass every Thursday and Saturday at 3PM with banners and signs. It's a lot of fun.

:) Great to hear. Hopefully I will be able to meet you one of these days. I am part of the Tacoma meet-up group. It is really hard to find time for me to attend activities such as that because of school and work. This will hopefully change in the next couple weeks because my work schedual is being revamped.

I'll be in Seattle this weekend for a suprise birthday party for my aunt (no one say anything). I'll be in Friday night until Tuesday evening and would be happy to meetup with supporters!

For all supporters in Thurston, Lewis, Gray's Harbor, Mason and Pacific Counties, the meetup group is Olympia-SW Washington Ron Paul 2008 meetup group at: http://ronpaul.meetup.com/278 Please join us if you live in one of these counties. For Chehalis specific: http://ronpaul.meetup.com/1239 and for Aberdeen specific: http://ronpaul.meetup.com/1240 We have signs and other great campaign materials for you to help spread the message. Come and join us on the Ron Paul Freedom Train!

I'm in WA - are we doing anything for the Nov 17th walk? Let's get organized!

Washington guys - particularly puget sounders, i'm trying to get folks to come out to the Apple Cup on the 28th to hand out stuff. i'm looking for pledges to pay for a banner to fly over the game. gametime is 4pm, so meetup should begin around 1:30. A meetup announcement will be coming.

PM me if you can help out - either with buying a banner (i'm thinking of copying Texas: "Ron Paul For President Everybody Wins") or handing stuff out. thanks guys.

we need a forum like this in Washington....

The seattle meetup group is strong.

Anyways, I'm 18. What can I do? Can I be a delegate? What does that entail and how do I sign up?

New members, great!

There is a ton of stuff you can do. If you are going to school like I am, you can start a Ron Paul campus group. Participate with your local GOP!

Did you go to the recent rally in Seattle?

Great that those here are active with their Meetup group. That's not enough. Get as active in your local County and State GOP. Let them know that you are interested in growing the party and introduce them all to Ron Paul. We are the Republicans. Be active and be visible. Don't like the current party platform? Then get active because they vote on party platform changes in the next couple of months. Let them know we want a smaller, more responsible Constitutional Government, and that with Ron Paul as the nominee we can get this party back on the track that made it the Grand 'Ole Party it was once known to be! We ARE Winning!!

Immediate Action Required!!

Everyone,

Pete here, an organizer of the Tacoma group.

Please immediately contact your meetup leader and submit your name, address, phone number and precinct/legislative district number if you haven't already. We are putting together our database that will be fundamental in organizing the caucus vote turnout.

Also, we have until 12/14 and maybe earlier depending on the particular preference of your county GOP to get open PCO slots filled. Once this opportunity has passed, the automatic delegates that would have been netted from unfilled PCO positions cannot be replaced, which will leave many precincts with only one delegate to represent it at the county convention.

The caucus seems like it's a complicated process to understand, but it's an easy one to participate in and a fundamental responsibility of all Dr. Paul's WA supporters if you actually want him to win. If you don't understand it, please email me at (removed.)

Let's Win Washington for Ron Paul!!!!

You should get yourself appointed as a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO). You do it through your local Republican Party (GOP). Your precinct number is on your voter registration card (you can look it up online). The County Elections Department or County GOP office can tell you if you have a Republican PCO. If you don't have a PCO, then you can be appointed as a PCO. PCOs are appointed by the Republican Party County Chair, on in large counties like King, it's the legislative district Republican Chair.

Get in touch with the appropriate person. State law, RCW 29A.28.071, says the GOP "shall fill the vacancy by appointment."

Whether or not you're a PCO, you must go to your caucus. It's February 9th. Make sure you know where yours is, and bring as many people as possible!! We have to haul ass February 9th.

Also note: the Democrats are ignoring the outcome of the primaries, so everyone who votes for a Democrat in the primary is wasting their vote. Everyone who supports Ron Paul must go to their caucus February 9th!!!

These websites:

have more important information.

I'm in the Spokane Meet up, theres about 250 members in it. We do a lot of Sign waving. just the other day we did our "pain the town Ron" we put up over 200+ grass roots signs all over Spokane. It should be pretty efective.
