How About this for a Slogan. "Son's of Liberty.. Unite!" The Son's of liberty were responsible for the Boston Tea party.

My first thought is that is a really good slogan. But my second thought is that it leaves out the daughters of liberty. Seems like we are severely lacking in the daughters of liberty department right now.

"Something is Brewing in America"
"Give your Max to Axe the Tax"
"Washington is in for a Brewed Awakening"

To the first application of this committee, the Governor told them he would give them a definite answer by five o'clock in the afternoon. At the hour appointed, the committee again repaired to the Governor's house, and on inquiry found he had gone to his country seat at Milton, a distance of about six miles. When the committee returned and informed the meeting of the absence of the Governor, there was a confused murmur among the members, and the meeting was immediately dissolved, many of them crying out, "Let every man do his duty, and be true to his country"; and there was a general huzza for Griffin's wharf.
-Eyewitness account of Boston Tea Party

"Let every man do his duty, and be true to his country."

This should be the slogan. It will play well in the media when they mention the historical context.

"The original American patriots were those individuals brave enough to resist with force the oppressive power of King George. I accept the definition of patriotism as that effort to resist oppressive state power. The true patriot is motivated by a sense of responsibility, and out of self interest -- for himself, his family, and the future of his country -- to resist government abuse of power. He rejects the notion that patriotism means obedience to the state."
-Ron Paul

Do it. Make the slogan: "Let every man do his duty, and be true to his country."

Do it.

How about you just say whatever you want to get people to go to the site. This is the beginning of a second revolution over unfair taxation the first was started with the first tea party and we will officially start the second revolution with this Tea Party 2007 celebration.

If you can get to that point in whatever slogan you have then thats the point, get people riled up, get this revolution really going!

I like
"Let every man do his duty, and be true to his country."

add it to the poll list

although maybe change it to "patriot" instead of man

Some fun ones:

'Steeped in Liberty'

'Pitch In'

'No Taxation... Period.'

'Peace Is Brewing'

Some serious ones:

'The Future is in Your Hands'

'Rise Up'

You know when I was re-reading about this again I read that and thought the same thing!

I think this should be it!

Well if you seriously think some women really might be turned away by it just saying man instead of person then I say we go with "The Party Has Just Begun."

Actually, I say we go with that one anyway because it more specifically refers to the event, so it will probably help get people excited more. They will feel like this is happening, and they need to be a part of it you know?

I think the femi-nazi brigade may not approve of this, haha. :p

I am a female and I love the "let every man do his duty..." line. Unfortunately I know rabid feminist types enough to know that that might be a little too gender specific for some. I think we need something inspiring like that though...thinking.....
