Virginia Parents Could Face Felony Charges for Not ‘Affirming’ Child’s Gender Identity

BRECCAN F. THIES 14 Oct 2022

Parents in Virginia could face felony or misdemeanor child abuse charges if they refuse to “affirm” their child’s gender identity.

Virginia state Del. Elizabeth Guzman (D) plans to introduce legislation in order to combat Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s (R) model policies on the treatment of “transgender” students in Virginia schools.

“The day that Gov. Youngkin wanted to implement this policy, I immediately texted the policy lead of that committee and said, this is how we’re going to push back,” Guzman, who is a social worker, said to ABC 7 News.

The planned bill would expand the definition of child abuse to include parents who are not willing to “affirm” their child’s stated gender identity or sexual orientation, with Guzman telling the outlet that if a child reports such an incident, “the job of that mandated reporter is to inform Child Protective Services (CPS).”

“That’s how everybody gets involved,” she continued. “There’s also an investigation in place that is not only from a social worker but there’s also a police investigation before we make the decision that there is going to be a CPS charge.”

Depending on the results of that investigation, Guzman said penalties could range from misdemeanor to felony abuse charges for parents and implied a goal of damaging the reputations of these parents if they do not follow the prescribed gender ideology.

“We know that CPS charge could harm your employment, could harm their education, because nowadays many people do a CPS database search before offering employment,” Guzman said. “It’s educating parents because the law tells you the do’s and don’ts. So this law is telling you do not abuse your children because they are LGBTQ.”

She also implied that not “affirming” their child’s gender identity might bar them from getting into heaven, saying, “You know, we all have a commitment to God. And for those believers out there, we know that there’s life after life, and there is going to be a conversation between that person and God and that’s what we’re after — to go by what the Bible says.”

Hmm, well, since this foreign flag puta brought it up, let's look:

On the subject of parents and children:

Exodus 20:12
Authorized (King James) Version
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

Ephesians 6:1
Authorized (King James) Version
6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Proverbs 22:15
Authorized (King James) Version
15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

Matthew 18:2-6
Authorized (King James) Version
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Exodus 21:15-17
Authorized (King James) Version
15 And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.
17 And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

On the subject of weirdosexuality:

Deuteronomy 23:1
King James Version
23 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord.

Leviticus 18:22
King James Version
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

1 Timothy 1:9-11
King James Version
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

1 Corinthians 6:18
King James Version
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

“That’s how everybody gets involved,” she continued.

You can't have a state without the family unit to train them. Hoppes or some shit. But also Hegel.

A Proposal by Virginia state Del. Elizabeth Guzman "Libealr"

In which they want to charge parents for who are not willing to “affirm” their child’s stated gender identity or sexual orientation.

Seems like 1984 in my view.

Scott rejects Guzman's 'abuse' proposal for retaliation against transgender kids

After a Democratic delegate publicly floated a trial balloon to expand the definition of child abuse and neglect to include retaliation for sexual orientation and gender identity, the House Democratic leader quickly shot it down as unnecessary and a distraction in key congressional races in Virginia.

Del. Elizabeth Guzman, D-Prince William, a social worker who introduced a similar bill in 2020, resurrected the idea in an interview with WJLA, the Washington ABC affiliate. Guzman spoke in response to Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s new proposed education policy to roll back school protections for students who identify as transgender but don’t want to confront their parents.

House Minority Leader Don Scott Jr., D-Portsmouth, said Friday that Guzman’s proposal in Thursday’s television interview would be “dead on arrival” in the next General Assembly session if it is introduced, which he said he doubts.

Scott said Guzman introduced the same legislation — House Bill 580 — in 2020, when Democrats controlled both chambers of the assembly, and then let it die in House subcommittee without a vote.

“We already have laws on the books to protect children from abuse and neglect, for whatever reason,” said the new minority leader, who unseated former House Speaker Eileen Filler-Corn, D-Fairfax, as the caucus leader earlier this year. “We don’t need a new bill or a new reason.”

“It’s a distraction, and an unnecessary one,” he said.

Guzman, in a message on Twitter on Friday, said the WJLA story “mischaracterized a pro-safety, anti-abuse bill I introduced in 2020 to protect LGBTQ youth.”

She said the legislation would not have broadened the definition of child abuse and neglect for parents who do not affirm their children’s sexual orientation or gender identity.

House Bill 580 would have applied to parents or other caregivers for inflicting or threatening to inflict “a physical or mental injury on the basis of the child’s gender identity or sexual orientation.”

I guess the question I would raise is, "What constitutes a 'mental injury'?" ... maybe that's defined somewhere else in the legislation. Regardless, the bill is DOA.

Translation: Took a poll and decided to save it for after the election.

Already walking it back.

"I never said that"

"I didn't mean it when I said it"

"Why are you listening to what I say anyway?"

"I was taken out of context"

"Y U so angry brah? I sent up similar last year and nobody raised a fuss"

"It's going nowhere, the bill is DOA, so pay it no mind"

Of course, no one will answer the question I'm asking: "Why in the fuck is this commie, Peruvian puta even in my country, much less why is she in a position of power to even propose such a thing?"

LGBTQ bill on child abuse creates uproar in Virginia and beyond

Laura Vozzella, Gregory S. Schneider - Yesterday 6:19 PM

RICHMOND — A Northern Virginia legislator found herself at the center of the nation’s LGBTQ culture wars after saying she would reintroduce a bill that barely made a stir when she first submitted it two years ago.

The measure proposed by Del. Elizabeth R. Guzman (D-Prince William) would expand the definition of child abuse to include inflicting “physical or mental injury” on children due to their gender identity or sexual orientation. Democrats scrapped the bill in 2020 on grounds that it was redundant; child abuse was already illegal in state code for any reason.

The bill got a very different description Thursday in a TV report, which said Guzman wanted parents to face criminal charges if “they do not affirm their child’s sexual orientation and gender identity.”

That description, which Guzman called inaccurate, led Republicans and Democrats alike to object. Some Republicans took the TV report’s use of “affirm” to mean parents who deny gender-affirming medical treatments to their children would be guilty of child abuse — something that is not in the bill.

Guzman and other Virginia Democrats “want to set the POLICE on you and charge you with a FELONY if you refuse to give your kids puberty blockers and irreversible sex change surgery,” the Republican Party of Virginia tweeted.

Guzman’s measure speaks only to physical or mental abuse inflicted on a child. There is no mention of gender-affirming medical treatments, although some Republicans suggested that parents might be accused of inflicting emotional abuse if they are not supportive of their child’s LGBTQ identity.

The Republican claims caught fire just over three weeks before midterm congressional elections, as many Republican candidates stress the parental-rights theme that helped Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) win the Executive Mansion last year. The issue was already at a boiling point, amid efforts by Youngkin to roll back transgender rights in K-12 schools.

Republicans in Virginia and across the country lambasted Guzman. Her fellow Democrats in the legislature and beyond made it known they were not on board. And the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia issued a statement against what it described as “the proposed gender affirming care bill.”

“Utterly horrifying,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) declared on Twitter. “These zealots think they are your children’s parents, and they’ll put you in jail if you disagree.”

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.), in a tight reelection campaign against Republican Yesli Vega in the state’s redrawn 7th District, said she opposed the bill.

“I don’t support this legislation, and it does not have a path forward in the General Assembly,” Spanberger said in a written statement. “It’s unclear how this proposed legislation intends to actually help transgender children and their families, which is what we should focus on.”

Guzman did not respond to an interview request but defended herself on Twitter Friday, saying reporter Nick Minock of WJLA-TV in Washington misrepresented the legislation in his news report.

And how long would it take some Marxist lawyer to argue that by doing so the parents have, prima facie, violated the law by causing "mental injury"?

This is easing the pain slightly.

There are moments when I am comfortable with my decision.

But she will stand up against the patriarchy and support women’s right to choose! Even if everything she does results in disaster, many will still vote for her.

Demons are in fact pushing this disgusting agenda. But I still can't help thinking about where the funding came from, considering that I have never heard of such things until the very recent years:

- As president, Trump threatened to veto, but instead and without hesitation, signed a $1.3 Trillion 2018 Omnibus providing:

- $500 Million to Planned Parenthood.

- $1.371 Billion for Contributions to International Organizations
- $51 Million to promote International Family Planning
- $7 Million promoting International Conservation
- $10 Million for UN Environmental Programs
- Internal Revenue Service: Despite the administration’s attempts to slash its budget, the
Omni-Bus grants $11.431 Billion to the nation’s tax collectors, a $196 million year-to-year
increase and $456 Million more than Trump requested.
- Arts: Federal funding for the arts goes up, despite GOP attempts to slash it. The National
Endowments for the Arts and Humanities will see funding climb to $152.8 Million each, a $3
Million increase over the last fiscal year. The National Gallery of Art gets $165.9 Million, a $1.04
Million jump in funding. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will receive $40.5
Million, which is $4 Million more than the last fiscal year.
- $12 Million for Scholarships for Lebanon
- $20 Million for Middle East Partnership Initiative Scholarship Program
- $12 Million in military funding for Vietnam
- $15 Million in Developmental assistance to China
- $10 Million for Women LEOs in Afghanistan

Regardless of "Party", if people insist on "voting", they best know exactly what they are consenting to. We did NOT get here over night. It takes MONEY for these things to happen.
