He considers himself a patriot, yet he also said that the decision came down to "surfing or the Senate". He could do so much good...maybe even save this country before it's too late. Nope, he likes it in Mexico better.

Very, very disappointing. Though I guess I can grudgingly accept the reasons he gave. It's doubly bad with the latest polls showing him tied for second place with Al Franken, and a real shot at taking on Coleman head to head. Alas, alas.

It's probably wishful thinking, but I'm only going to consider this 95% closed until after 5:00 PM tomorrow. Jesse Ventura is known for show and Navy SEAL like tactics. He just might deliver the ultimate shock to our psyches by going down sometime tomorrow and filing for the office. He did say that he's not running "at this time," and left the door barely cracked open. We shall see...
