"Behind this mask is an Idea... and Ideas are BULLETPROOF."

V for Vendetta

I just had an "inspired" thought.

A variation of the amazing scene at the end of the movie "V for Vendetta".

What IF... Ron Paul supporters showed en Mass at an event ALL wearing a Paul Revere mask, wrapped in the Flag, and carrying lanterns?

Imagine a few THOUSAND people like that chanting for Ron Paul.

Unfortunately, the government hates masks and people would likely get arrested if they didn't take off their masks. This would have to be done by people willing to participate in civil disobedience.

Yeah, I don't know about the masks.

Somebody here once suggested wearing the old tricorn hat as a symbol of Ron Paul's campaign.

I might pick one of these up. ;)

I think I may get one of those too. I like this idea.

Yes, tri-corner hats, on the other hand, are a great idea. Others have suggested everyone wearing surgical scrubs for Dr. Paul, and they're pretty cheap at medical supply/uniform stores. I don't know if it would make us look too culty, though. Something to ponder.

Yeah, personally I think I'd be kinda freaked out by a big group of people in medical scrubs.

On the other hand, having a small group decked out in medical scrubs at rallies to deal with the "health care voters" might not be a bad idea. They could be our Constitutional Trauma Reaction Team. ;)

Any doctors in the house?

I didn't mean to suggest wearing the masks the whole time. Sorry about the lack of clarity.

I meant as a "choreographed" photo-op type thing. Like the moment The Doctor is making his entrance. The spotter announces Dr. Paul is 10 seconds from making his entrance, everyone slips on their masks, and the chant goes up w/ roaring ovation for about 30-60 seconds. As he begins to speak, the masks come back off.

And I definitely love the tri-corner hat idea too!

The purpose for the "mask moment" is to create a visual where EVERYONE, for a moment, shows as little distinction from each other as possible. The subliminal message is that ANYONE can be that Patriot. That despite all the attemts at dividing us, we ARE "one".

It's a dramatic statement of Political Theatre. NOT "civil disobedience".

Alright, that's a little more developed and could be an excellent idea.

the stakes are no less serious

We should respect the founding father's civil disobedience - they risked hanging for challenging the King. If we wear the uniforms or the hats or a mask of that time we shouldn't trivialize the gesture. It should not be done in "fun". If we decide to make the tri-fold our symbol ( and I wholly support this idea ) we should perhaps consider the wearing of that hat an official declaration of civil disobedience. Ours is no less serious a fight - the globalist establishment ( the "consortium" is my preferred adjective ) is an extremely formidable enemy of the people with almost unlimited fiat resources. Our foe is undefined, much as the phony threat of "terrorism" is a vague and mysterious "enemy". We face a fight against evil, no less. Just know what you are getting yourselves into...
