United States Defecit Quietly Surges To 480 Billion!

I have been watching the treasury pretty closely over the last few weeks and in July the national debt has been surging some 80 billion. As of thursday, the United States debt is at 9.54 Trillion. With the housing bill that is soon to be signed, our defecit could plunge into the 800+ billions for the year.

Here's something interesting..The federal debt as a percentage of GDP is extremely reasonable by historic standards. The debt as a percentage of GDP is far lower in the W administration than it was through all of the 40's, 50's, the early 60's, Bush I, and most of Clinton.

Having said that, this does not excuse the distruction of the Constitution, the rise of the police state, enriching your buddies with our tax money, killing innocent people of other nations, and putting our brave soldiers in harms way with lies and grabs for money and power, and nefarious immoral deeds conducted around the globe by our intelligence agencies.
