Pundits are having a field day making fun of President Trump's recent comment that less coronavirus testing would probably result in less Covid in the country. They accuse him of doltish behavior and head-in-the-sand thinking. Do they have a point? What are the merits of Trump's assertions? Also in today's program, will the "solution" to bias in social media be worse than the problem itself?

I still need to watch this, and maybe Ron Paul made this point, but Trump was essentially repeating what the mainstream media has been saying for weeks, in reverse - he was not stating it as matter of fact, he was trying to show them how foolish they are.

The media is claiming that the number of cases is significantly increasing, but it is actually just the testing that is significantly increasing. So when Trump says if there was less testing there would be less cases, it is the reverse of saying that if there is more testing (which we have) then there are more cases - which is ridiculous - and Trump knows it.

The tests are flawed anyway. Anyone who has had the common cold (coronavirus) will test positive. When people test positive that ups the numbers so they can continue to scare people and that allows them to continue to push their agenda.

“There is no reason to panic because testing positive for coronavirus doesn’t mean you are ill or about to die. In fact, most of us here if you test for common cold most of us will be positive but it doesn’t mean we are unwell..."
