This would make a great thread.
What do the words don't trust have anything to do with with being libertarian or anti-libertarian?
Bill Gates, Miriam Adelson, Tom Steyer, George Soros, Peter Thiel... Donald Trump who has donated to many democrats including Hillary Clinton, Charlie Rangel, Kamala Harris TWICE, etc.......
and now ELON MUSK who has enough F&CK YOU MONEY that he doesn't have a thing to worry about, yet is being heralded as the next beloved billionaire involved with TrumpPolitics.
So I ask, what does don't trust have anything to do with being libertarian or anti-libertarian? I'm confused.
From the other thread:
I still don't get why you hate Elon. If you were Elon would you turn down an opportunity to rewrite regulations to your company's favor? I sure as heck wouldn't.
Because:
President Biden has long vowed to build 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations in the United States by 2030.
But now, more than two years after Congress allocated $7.5 billion to help build out those stations, only 7 EV charging stations are operational across four states.
I'm sure he and Trump will pull another OWS out of thin air for the electric car business and the repubs will love them for it.
i just got a flag on my x for "manipulating the platform"
just reading the news
I DONT TRUST THIS MOTHER F U C KE R ANYWHERE NEAR MY "GUBBERMINT"
Electric cars were and would be subsidized with or without Elon, I still don't get it.
And to the extent that he did lobby for any subsidies... he's a businessman, it'd be stupid not to.
It's like 100x better than it was before he took over. I'm sure Twitter still has a large remnant of leftists in its employ, and I can't fault Elon for having better things to do than to micro manage X
respectfully
your missing the point
his shit DOESNT work
even the trucks are LITTERALY falling apart
ive been banned from x 3 times and now have a red flag on my account, well, i *did*. im out, its a tarp
head of efficiency?
ok
I hereby secede from your thought process, brother ;-)
Yeah, it would be stoopid for Musk not to want to take advantage. But it's even more stoopid for the tax-payers to make 'scuses for it.
Shrug. I don't know anything about electric cars but I do know he revolutionized the space industry
The way I look at it is this, nearly everybody in this country sends more to Uncle Sam than they can ever get back. So, get what you can back in whatever form you can.
Wasn't Musk on Trump's unofficial cabinet last time or something before getting out of it?
Oh yeah, I forgot about that one... Trump's brand new U.S. Space Force. Isn't that tax-payer funded too? Think Elon might branch out just a little bit?
