A Manhattan jury has found two Trump Organization companies guilty on multiple charges of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records connected to a 15-year scheme to defraud tax authorities by failing to report and pay taxes on compensation for top executives.

Although Donald Trump wasn't charged it's hard to believe he wasmn't aware of what was going on.

Really?! After 4 years in the White House, I find it VERY believable that he isn't aware of what is going on.

It's pretty clear Weisselberg acted for himself. Wages are costs deducted from revenue, so if a company doesn't report all your wages, it pays more in corporate income taxes. It makes little sense for a company to purposefully run a scheme like this.

There will be a small fine and the company will move forward.

Packed Jury in a Kangaroo court.
It will probably fall apart on appeal.

Link?

Look If you want to argue it's "selective prosecution" then so be it. For every rich elite who gets their dick slapped in the courts there are a hundred others that will never answer for the same/similar crimes.

Weisselberg wasn't the only company exec who got unreported benefits. The companies may have felt it was worth it to keep these execs by paying them unreported compensation. In addition, the company evaded paying payroll tax on the extra benefits.

He also just had dinner with some Q followers and they found more classified materials in a storage unit. Campaign is off to a great start!

Silverstein Properties’ Larry Silverstein, Kushner’s Jonathan Kushner and rendering of 808 Pavonia Avenue in Jersey City

It’s full steam ahead for two prominent developers in Jersey City, one of which is already dominating the Journal Square skyline.

Doesn't the Social Security tax stop getting taken out after around 150k? Isn't SS the largest chunk of payroll tax?

In a state like Ill or an east or west coast state I'd guess state , county , city and fed taxes would be much more than the social security and medicare taxes.

He's not involved in the day to day operations. He doesn't do the books.
