President Trump's reelection campaign said Thursday that it is dropping a lawsuit challenging voting results in Michigan, which show Democrat Joe Biden narrowly carrying the battleground state.

“This morning we are withdrawing our lawsuit in Michigan," Rudy Giuliani, Trump's personal attorney, said in a statement.

Trump Withdraws Michigan Lawsuit, Cites Wayne County Canvassers

MICHIGAN — The campaign of President Donald Trump is withdrawing its lawsuit in Michigan, with campaign officials saying it served its purpose by stopping the election in Wayne County from being prematurely certified.

"This morning we are withdrawing our lawsuit in Michigan as a direct result of achieving the relief we sought: to stop the election in Wayne County from being prematurely certified before residents can be assured that every legal vote has been counted and every illegal vote has not been counted," Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said in a statement.

It is not yet clear which lawsuit Giuliani is referring to as the Trump campaign has filed several lawsuits throughout Michigan seeking election-related changes.

The Wayne County Board of Canvassers voted to certify the Nov. 3 election results from Wayne County late Tuesday night after a nearly six-hour meeting in which several Detroit residents spoke out against the board's initial decision to note certify the ballots.

Wayne County Board of Canvassers Chair Monica Palmer and William Hartmann — two Republicans who first deadlocked the board's vote to certify election results 2-2 before eventually opting to certify the results under the condition unbalanced precincts are audited — filed affidavits Wednesday night demanding they be able to rescind their votes for certification.

I'm watching the CSPAN right now, and the language they are using is not any concession.

Matter of fact they brought up an interesting fact about these voting machine companies. How they F' up in in one place, then they change their name and start selling their brand under another corporate name...but same shtick.

Of course not, Trump is going to win. I'm just saying the left is threatening to make lists of Trump's enablers so they can harass their future employers, but if they really had their way they would throw them in concentration camps. They have already said all that.

The point being, Trump's "enablers" actually have a very strong motivation to win, as opposed to just making money.

LOL! Pay attention and realize they dropped this case because they got what they wanted. They have another one and didn't need to have two lawsuits when the first one that was dropped gave them the information they needed.

Danno..you have the positivity of a Proton. I wish I could see it. But unfortunately the media industrial complex is going to continue to cover this one sided. I don't see any answer on this that makes it clear since they are never going to look into any evidence too deeply just as they never looked into the computer evidence during Russiagate. I still have friends who think I'm a nut even though I've showed them the FBI never did forensics on DNC computers and only an independent group did the forensics. If it isn't a NAME BRAND speaking, then it's all conspiracy to most people.

Yes, indeed , we will never be able to prove fraud in a timely manner (by Mid December 2020). Whomever concocted the scheme was a genius.

But they forgot one small item. We don’t have to prove fraud. Or we need is to prevent Biden from reaching 270 by Mid December. Then it’ll be up to the Republican controlled legislatures to their thang.
