There are two Democratic Parties in Kentucky according to Mongiardo!

Mongiardo believes there are two Democratic parties in Kentucky — that led by the establishment personified by former Sen. Wendell Ford, state Auditor Crit Luallen, Beshear and others and another one made up of “the little guys” with whom Mongiardo identifies. Conway had the backing of the Democratic elite and big donors, but Mongiardo led most of the way in polling — until Conway pummeled him with negative television ads while Mongiardo’s under funded campaign had to sit on the sidelines, hoarding its cash for the final push. Again, Mongiardo lost narrowly.

Dr Dan should just quit the Democrat Party and join the GOP, run as a Tea Party populist/Republican for Governor. I bet he could cut a deal

someone should put it to him.

if he jumped ship to the GOP and backed Rand he will virtually guarantee himself support for a run as Governor in 2011

is jack conway using the DNC to media/blog RAND PAUL ad infinitum in lieu of the media ads
in a manner akin to the way he went after dan mongiardo's people given their rural roots?

"David Adams going to Lexington to see a man about a dog."

Could the dog == Gunner?! :D ;)

tickets and/or teams run for governor? initially
we have the Lt. Gov being tired of politics... given
how fiercely JACK CONWAY slammed at him?

there are several races and offices over the next
few years, let alone thoughts about D.C and the hill
let alone staff positions. RAND needs people...

This other thread deserves to be linked up here:
People from Western KY" not 'progressive enough' to work in Conway campaign?

So here is a question for the armchair consultants: If Dr. Dan is offering to sell his endorsement and campaigning in exchange for paying off his campaign debt, how much is it worth?

It will look really bad if Rand's campaign pays it.

I can't imagine Rand (up in all polls and certainly favored to win) would go for a blue dog bailout. I'm all for Mongiardo endorsing Rand, but it can't be a quid pro quo deal where the campaign pays off his debt.

What if lt. governor daniel mongiardo humours a GREEN PARTY senate run or something of the like?
methinks he almost has to keep running in place in order to fund raise himself into the 'black'...!!!
ms. hillary clinton in 2008 almost seemed trapped inside the endless campaign due to her debt.

Are the deadlines past for him to 'pull a Christ' and run independent?

IF KY's Lt. Gov toys with running in 2014 or 2016 and eggs RAND on in a mock debate?

it would be sorta fun to see RAND PAUL debating his true and HONEST opponents all especially if
A.G "smilin' jack" Conway once again despite a vapidly preening "pretty boy" elan vitale and
camera hog good looks MOST conceitedly and quite happily & merrily AVOIDs all the mass media
with their omnipresent herd~animal feeding~frenzy tv, film and/or small digital cameras!!!
WHY NOT SHOW THE GOOD VOTERs OF KENTUCKY THE FALL CAMPAIGN THAT ALMOST WAS!?!!
