The Revolution slips to number 9 on Amazon!

Umm... I wonder if it has something to do with it being out of stock?

We just got #1 on New York Times List.

 Doesn't quite look like it's May 20th to me?

What does that have to do with anything? People couldn't "buy" the book before the release date either, but that didn't seem to stop people from ordering it now did it?

No, it didn't. But now the book is available at other places online, where they can actually get it within a few days time. Ordering from Amazon now, however, would only result in a two week wait for the book. I guess I don't see what you're trying to show? The only reason the book has fallen to #9 is the lack of immediate availability, nothing more.

Availability is spurred by orders.

By the way, the PRIMARY reason for keeping the Revolution high on the list is NOT so people who already support Ron Paul can get their copies. The primary purpose is VISIBILITY to the public. If we didn't care about visibility, then we wouldn't care if it made number 1 either.

Yeah. Originally it was a 6-7 week wait. Then a few more orders came in and they made it more of a priority to get the book, thus the May 20 date. Then, people were informed they could get it from other online outlets, and the orders stopped coming in as strong. If something is sold out, it's sold out.

Indeed.

I think it being out of stock at Amazon has helped spur purchases at stores in the nondigital world, which in turn has pushed it up the NYT Bestseller list. This is a good thing. My parents who i've been unsuccessfully working on are like, "Hey, I guess I'll have to buy it." This is a good for the masses.

I'm actually shocked that people care about the ranking on Amazon and that they would buy it from Amazon, does no one here know the truth about Jeff Bezos?

Like I said a few posts up, it's about visibility. What's wrong with Jeff Bezos? He must be worse than Rupert Murdoch, because we watch Fox when Ron Paul is on.

Just in case you forgot which forum you were on. Lol.

Anyways having it being sold from bricks and mortar stores is a lot more important I think. If it sell a lot then it gets put on prominent display, increasing casual and impulse sales.
