I admittedly haven't delved too deeply into this, but from what I have read I'm really saddened given Ron's mention of the Jews for Ron Paul blog.

Someone please tell me that this article is completely wrong. :( If it isn't, I think this should serve as a lesson to anyone who thinks it is a good idea to do anything that is questionable ur unethical because they think the powers that be are behaving in this way, or that they have to to 'level the playing field.'

Ill tell you why its wrong.. The article says this group is part of the official campaign which of course it is not... Fuck the article and fuck the people who wrote it.. Theyre a bunch of freedom hating neocons

oops sorry for all that.. just kind of slipped

I have a solution...

I have a solution:

((Please, post this-or similar-every time you hear the endless racist slurs))

Ron Paul views people a individuals not groups.
Racism and religious bigotry are collective concepts.

Ron Paul supports individual concepts, not collective concepts.
By definition Ron Paul is not a racist.

Much of what they said is exaggerated and flawed, but any Jewish support he actually does have is now compromised. It's like that fake YouTube video by the guy who supposedly served in Iraq. Yes, there are people who served in Iraq that oppose the war, but if that guy did in fact lie about his service, and it goes public, it casts a shadow of doubt over the actual vets against the war. Likewise, a fake Jew being the front of a Jewish support group can achieve the same results for the Jews who do support our guy.

Yes, to heck with the site, but please, let us learn from our mistakes and help Ron Paul in every way we can.

Mike is right. That group is not part of the Ron Paul campaign. They're grassroots like us. This article was written by a jealous liberal. Some of Paul's greatest heroes are Jewish and he has pictures of them hanging in his office. Don't listen to any of the anti-semitist crap because none of it is true.

I think some posters in this forum claim to be Jews for Ron Paul members, and would love to hear their comments to this. Bump.

What, you mean the article that discounts the Jewishness of two members of this group because of their political views?

Fuck this cocksucker.

You realize that Sultan Knish is a well known advocate of Arab genocide, right?

I don't doubt RP for a minute, and I don't doubt his support from Jews and any other religious or ethnical background. I was just hoping that the the guy on the site really was a Jew because it makes the rest of the things they say very easy to dispel. I saw this link in a non-RP forum, and it's pretty had to dismiss.

Let me summarize what bothered me about the article. They are claiming that RP's Jewish support is fraudulent based on the fact that he front guy for the Jews for RP is a fraud. I know it's not fair and it's BS, but it's just really really hard to argue with people who want to play this card.

When the first sentance accuses RP of being an antisemite, a white supremecist, and an anti-republican... the rest of the article is voided.

Why is it that every Anti-Freedom lie and every Scumbag hit piece is given the credence of the Gospel??

And just what is a rogue supporter?
I might resemble that remark.

I doubt the article was written to convince you and I that RP is anti-semitic. What I'm concerned with are those brave souls who debate with neocons on conservative forums who have to respond to it. :(

It's completely wrong.

This is the just the latest attack tactic opponents are using on Ron Paul. Anti-Paul Radio talk show hosts are doing the same thing.

Did you read this part below? Why does that sound familiar? A variation of the previous attack that we were a couple of hackers in a basement and all of the polls and internet support were faked?

From that article:

"When I first wrote about Ron Paul, I noticed a burst of comments from people claiming to be Jewish and Ron Paul supporters. I suspected that most of them were fake, probably at least one of them was really Jim C. Perry who moonlights as a Jewish Ron Paul supporter, when he's not being a Pagan Ron Paul supporter, a Cherokee or a Unitarian Universalist."

A lot of Jewish people tend to think that any Jews that don't want US intervention in Israel aren't Jewish. Hypocritical if you ask me.

I for one, am Jewish, and a strong supporter of Ron Paul. This article was copmletely voided after the first few sentences. I know lots of Jewish people who are really close-minded when it comes to Israeli interests, but I think that Ron Paul is definitely going about it the right way. Maybe its because I haven't lived in Israel all my life, and I'm still young and impressionable that I agree with you guys. I really hope that there are other Jews like me who saw that article and called BS. I am also ashamed of the Israeli Lobby that denounces any candidates who refuse to give Israel preferential treatment.

I just slapped the title on there, no need to read too deeply into it. I've heard some people argue, on here, that they are completely justified in using tactics that they feel are being used against RP, fight fire with fire kinda stuff. So that's what I meant, I probably could have used a better title. :)

Let's say I feel that the best way to fight the anti-semitic argument or to show RP's Jewish support is to create a Jews4RP blog. Problem is, I'm not Jewish. Is it right or a good idea for me to pretend I'm Jewish? I don't think it's a good idea. Especially if our good man uses my Jews4RP blog as an example in an interview, it just makes him look foolish and his Jewish support suspect (in the eyes of the unconvinced.) I just wanted to get it off my chest because I was disheartened after seeing it in the middle of a RP discussion on a conservative forum I lurk on.

I don't post often, but I've been supporting Ron Paul since before he announced, I read this forum daily, and I'm committed enough to this campaign to say that my wife is now threatening me for donating too much. :) RP's message is appealing to all Americans and most of the world, I have no doubt in my mind that he has much jewish support. Don't worry about convincing me, or anyone else reading this forum, worry about the unconverted and those brave souls who have the stomach to debate with warmongering neocons on a daily basis, and Ron Paul who gets to experience both the good and the bad of what a diverse grassroots base brings.

Again, the biggest part of the article, to me, was that the front guy for the blog is pretending to be a Jew when he is not (this is according to the site I linked.) Am I the only one who thinks that a non-Jew heading up a Jews for Ron Paul blog is a bad thing?

Welcome.

We promise not to test your knowledge of the Torah.

Mesler is 100% right

I am a (real) Jew for Ron Paul, unlike, it seems, Mr. Perry. When I read this, I was absolutely mortified. Mr. Perry's actions, if they are as described, are completely unethical and totally undermine the work that Dr. Paul's supporters like myself are attempting to do in the Jewish community on his behalf.

90% of the people in the Grassroots for RP are amazing, and it is so frustrating to me that there is 5-10% who insist on behaving like complete idiots and ruining the rest of our hard work. Let me give a hint to you if you are in that 5-10%, if you know your actions are unethical or if you are geting banned from multiple message boards because of your advocacy for Dr. Paul, YOU are the problem and you need to learn to control yourself.

Ron Paul is in this campaign to win. He cannot do this if his supporters (even a few) misrepresent who they are or alienate people we need to be winning over.

That isn't to say that this hit-piece article attacking Dr. Paul isn't complete BS, but you know what, THAT IS POLITICS, as anyone who has ever worked on a campaign knows-- people are going to come after Dr. Paul and they are not going to fight fair. We need to recognize that fact and not do anything through our own actions that gives them ammunition for their attacks.

There are several different Ron Paul support sites for folks with similar interests. There is a Christians for, Catholics for, etc.
Ron Paul is not catholic, but my Mom is. So I sent her there.
There are Arab members, Jewish members. Atheist and Pagan members. They all have one thing in common, and that is te desire to be free.
I don't know if the Guy that runs the site is Jewish, I don't know that he's not.
I wouldn't take the Hack that wrote that craps word for it.
