So I've been talking to a few people about their situations lately, to make sure they are ok.. and it seems a common theme is emerging.
Ever since the bailout they've started the process of leaving their home. They tried to get a modification, without luck, and are prepared to walk. And, when I ask are they sure they want to do that or why... the answer is always in some form of, 'well the banks got their money (bailout), so screw them!'
Has anyone else ran into this mode of thinking?
My personal theory is that all the banks, realitors blah blah have been telling us all along 'think of it as an investment!' Well, what do you do with a bad investment?!
Anyways thought I'd throw that out see if its just my hood!
