After watching the debate on youtube, I come away feeling like Bill O'Reilly operates on EMOTIONS (and fear), while Ron Paul operates on LOGIC (and facts).

The logical standpoint of Dr. Paul ought to get people looking for more information on his views, especially if they are against the war.

Nothing won, nothing lost, with the exception of giving RP some more air time and exposure. But it wasn't a huge win or loss either way.

Maybe a seed was planted in some minds. Maybe they shook their heads and said Ron Paul lost. But maybe in the next couple of days they will think about what he said and look him up. Maybe a delayed reaction? :o

Dildo'Reilly was just doing his job... you could tell.

i think it says alot that he came out in attack mode.

gee... how's that saying go that everyone around here
is so fond of?

I just have one thing to say to Bill O......SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!
This interview in the den of wolves is nothing lost nothing gained.
Ron Paul is as wise as these serpents but as innocent as a dove.

No worries, march on.

Somebody just mentioned on another thread here that Ron Paul stands for reason.

I think that Ron Paul is cementing his "reasonableness" as a candidate, what with the Bill O'Reilly interview as well as the debate with Huckabee.

Reasonable people like reason in a candidate, and will look for more facts about him. Look for Ron Paul's star to continue rising....

Thanks, BO!

I've moved past this interview and am not going to think about it anymore.

And O'Reilly conceded the point with his "we don't need a history lesson", which has the affect of equating what RP was saying as truth. I thought the interview went as well as we could have hoped.

It was a good interview...stop fretting. It only left a bad taste in the mouth concerning Bill O, and left a craving for more info about RP.

I agree. It was good. After reading all the shrill responses on this board about how O'Reilly owned Paul, I was expecting something really bad. I think some people on this board are too sensitive. Paul is going to be attacked a lot worse than that if he continues to gain momentum.

stupid question was asked multiple times even after Ron answered it ("do you fear iran.., don't you fear iran, you don't fear iran? ?)

I think these words say it best:

People who think arguments are won by being an ass, controlling the discussion through loudness and interrupting think O'Reilly won. People who think logical arguments, decorum, perspective and educated big-picture thinking win arguments think the Dr. won. That's my observation so far. As for me, I'm in the Ron Paul kicked O'Reilly's closed-minded, fearmongering, fit-throwing ass camp.

Naa. The fox viewers allready seen Dr. Ron Paul rip up their media. Bill is not news.
He's entertainment I have to say. Not my entertainment but people can not take Bill serious........... They can't from watching his shows.. Entertainment is all bill is for the deranged lunitics out there who believes he is serious... We know he is not news...

I posted this in the other thread

Why don't BillOs guests just say "If you won't let me answer your questions, then you are just wasting my time". And then walk off the set in mid-interview?

Because it would look really bad, is unprofessional, and would allow one to be branded as a coward. And yes I realize that BO is a bully and does not give professional interviews.
