The democrats are the ones that caused the financial crisis

Hey, tony. If you want to get us on the bandwagon, you're either going to have to do better than the tired old left/right false paradigm, or you're going to have to show us how the crooks on your side of your false paradigm are actually better. We're all of us smart enough and well informed enough to know and know well that both sides bear plenty of responsibility for this quagmire.

If you want to get us to vote for this idiot McCain, you're going to have to prove to us beyond a reasonable doubt that he's part of the solution, not part of the problem--in other words, that he represents we, the people. And he has been part of the problem and failed to represent we, the people for so many decades now, I really don't see how you can...

He had and proposed the solution. The democrats are the ones that killed the bill. Thus we have the mortgage crisis right now. If we put a brake on this problem 2 or 3 years ago or even 30 years ago, we wouldn't have this problem.

It's been a bipartisan cluster****!

The Republicans had a majority for 6 years. They did nothing but crap all over the Constitution and spend our money. And wage no-win land wars on a tactic, of course!

What in the hell are you talking about, tony? Provide a link. YouTube it or it didn't happen.

So, the great cross-aisle head-bonker couldn't browbeat the Dems, eh? I thought that was his main selling point!

We don't operate on faith, tony. We aren't in lockstep with you. What the hell bill are you talking about? Post it so we can see if it needed to be shot down.

Well, the republicans (Ron Paul) warned about the crisis, the democrats killed the bill with their majority power. What can you do?

Yes this is the fault of the Democrats and if there are any who deny it...well. they are just not informed. tones

The republicans are the ones keeping this bill from passing wake the f up! Tones

Hmmm. I wonder if you could tell me who brought this bill to congress. And what the republican nominee has to say about this bill. Yes there are good people left in the Republican party. None of them are running the party at the moment.

He was a co-sponsor of S.190.

Mr. President, this week Fannie Mae’s regulator reported that the company’s quarterly reports of profit growth over the past few years were “illusions deliberately and systematically created” by the company’s senior management, which resulted in a $10.6 billion accounting scandal.

And this is the link to the whole article.

It's not only NOT about right/left on this one, it's not even about housing toxic paper. It's about ALL toxic paper. All those ponzi schemes other than mortgages are being rolled into one nice package and tied up with a pretty bow.
