Alright, where's the civil-rights crowd on this one?

Ten Years? A non-violent crime, and the authorities are going to snatch his youth... an entire decade?

-RP's district btw.

Wow... and that Mary Winkler (preacher's wife) who shot her hubby dead in the back with a shotgun got only 7 months prison and probation.

Yea, this is such a great legal system. Thanks government for making us "safe".

.

And my cousin who got busted manufacturing meth only got three months in county jail (two and a half years later...)

You know why we're losing the "so called war-on-drugs?" Because the laws are enforced so haphazardly.

The current system is broken.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Me thinks it is time for a change.

Wow, that seems a little bit over kill. The guy was arrested for failure to show proof of insurance? And ten years for 4 grams. That is like such a small little pile.

It seems like our society has gone completely backwards these days. Just the other night, a lady on the radio was ranting about how this guy in our community had been arrested for 7 armed robberies in the past year. Each and every time, the judge had let him out on bail, and had significantly reduced the amounts of bail that he had to pay. During the exact same time as the radio broadcast, the guy committed another robbery, and this time he finally shot someone.

When someone is an obvious threat to society, we let them go. When someone is causing no harm to anyone around them, we lock them up and throw away the key. Where is the justice?
