Web traffic is important, but also buying an add that could reach hundreds on a not so trafficked site is a good thing as well.
Does cost depend on how many people visit the web page?

how do you sell ad space on a blog? if i knew how, i'd start a blog.

This blog in NOVA is very conservative, but they are running through helpsavemanassas a grass roots effort to make their local communities enforce laws. They now have almost 2,000 members and it just started in April or May of this year.
Take a look and let me know if you think we should run an ad there - there is open ad space.
