Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson is now the presumptive nominee for the Republicans.

Another GOPer, conservative activist and physician Rand (namesake of Ayn) Paul, son of US Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), is also raising money ($98,000 at midyear).

he is not likely, barring a serious stumble by Grayson, to provide serious competition in the primary. None of the other Republican Senate possibilities, such as former ambassador Cathy Bailey and several GOP congressmen, are expected to get in the race now.

How the hell could anyone who calls themsleves a serious publication get so many things wrong!?!?
