one of the active members I've met through this race sent me this. Not really Rand based but still important. His message:
In need of our prayers for Audrin King, and her family. Today her two year old daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. If you see this post, even if you don't know her, say a prayer for that little girl and give everyone you know the opportunity to do so. Lord, please give her family strength and peace!

I don't usually do that but, I have a 15 month old girl. Couldn't imagine it.

It is really really hard when someone in your family gets cancer and even harder when it is such a young life. My absolute best wishes to this young girl.

That is absolutely terrible :(
This is a sobering reminder that some things are far more important than politics...namely, life and children

Audrin King is in my prayers as is her family. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help that family either emotionally or financially.

My mom volunteers most of her free time either in our local hospital or the Ronald McDonald house (where the parents of children that are in a nearby hospital can stay at night for a seriously reduced price.) She's learned that one of the best things you can do for a distraught family is to just get their mind off the cancer/accident/condition and to let them have fun at the zoo or bring them a movie. It also helps for them to know that friends, family, and even mere acquaintances have got their back

I hope that God looks over and guides them through this troubling time

It's absolutely terrible, but I honestly don't think my praying will help her. What will help her is to put an end to DC's looting of our society to fund wars and other mayhem. Once we do that, people will naturally expend their own resources on things that really matter to them, for instance funding medical research to extend and improve the lives of themselves and their families.

I'm not saying this to be righteous, sanctimonious, or anti-religion. It's really a fundamental issue when talking about the evil that oppressive governments propagate. They deny us of one of our most fundamental rights, which is the right to expend our own personal resources on protecting our own lives.

I just said a prayer for her, and I sincerely hope her family knows about Laetrile.
