Did you go out (off the internet) and spread the message of freedom and liberty?
Today was my day to go and put slimjims on cars at Walmart.
Tomorrow is another parking lot with even more cars. :-)
Great way to get to talk to people, too.

Went with group of six and held up two 4x20 foot signs over Hwy 59.

Probably seen by about 25,000 cars... :D

working at my job so I can provide for my family :-). Get paid so I can pay off the last of my credit cards, and then max out my $2300 in donations (halfway there)

How about going to a local grocery store and handing out slimjims, or tri-folds (after work)?

Made a couple of phone calls (texas straw poll and NH newspapers to get more rate info).

About to go to the grocery store sporting my Ron Paul 2008 tee shirt, with a pocketful of business cards.

Oh, and I posted at a small private forum again...more Ron stuff for them...they're damn near sick of me talking Ron all the time so I've backed off some, lol...though I think I may have swayed the Tancredo supporter to our side...:)

At work right now, but once I get home, me and a buddy are putting up two signs over the highway and making 4 additional signs for later use.

We have to print these out on our own printers right? Since we just have downloadable files?

I requested a ton of them from the campaign. They showed up on my doorstep a few days later. I also purchased, on my own, 500 tri-folds (very nice quality). Look in the campaign materials section on where to get stuff.

I would suggest, when doing big signs, that they mention he is running for president.

Drove my car with bumper stickers and magnetic sign, wore my Ron Paul Tshirt for errands and for my walk by the lake and downtown, dropped 1 piece of Ron Paul lit at a house that had a Run Fred Run sign in the window, and shipped a bunch of Ron Paul tshirts.

Other than that, I'm being privately grumpy because some of my pre-straw poll DVDs got returned for insufficient postage because a volunteer refused to fold the insert the way I instructed, making the mailer to fat for letter class, even after I asked a second time. Cost me a hell of a lot of money to mail those. Grrr. Grump.

I went to a large local retirement home and dropped off a handful of slim jims in the lobby.. good idea? who knows..

certainly can't hurt.
I think his stances will play well with the older generation and they tend to vote.

We are currently doing the following:

1) going to local message boards (where one can actually be heard!) and spreading the gospel of Dr. Paul. We don't do the "Ron Paul 2008!" type posts, but instead we hook into what people are talking about and then slip RP in there very humbly as information. Threads about pot, war in Iraq, immigration, whatever. We did start one thread called "Are You Against the War?" which follows with "Then check out Ron Paul" with info and links. It is currently the most viewed new thread with nearly 1000 views!

2) taking RP brochures and bumper stickers to gold dealers, who sometimes are supporters. Some will help distribute the brochures through their shop.

3) passing out DVDs (usually the Freedom To Fascism/Ron Paul2008 combo which we have had success with).

4) talking to people. The day before yesterday, we overheard someone saying "Don't steal - the govt hates competition." We of course chimed in and started talking about candidate Ron Paul having this on his desk. But the lady got a blank look when we mentioned him, and said with admiration "I saw what's his name - Omamba - on tv doing the kind of work that I do - you know, cleaning and making beds and stuff, for one day. You don't see any of the other politicians doing things like that! I really like Omamba." We didn't even bother...

4) stickin' stickers all over the place! We hit small towns and hit the main street area. So far a good percentage remain up!

Yet another day at work with a Ron Paul button and a pocket full of slim-jims. Another colleague asked "Who is Ron Paul." Out came a slim-jim and before long he was asking why "his" Democrats couldn't adopt some of these policies. "They could," I said, "but they'd rather take your money."

Now I'm headed over to Arlington to try and help with the e-mail backlog.

Drove an hour up rt 16 in New Hampshire to find a billboard to rent.. and hour later I found one up in Wakefield, NH.. Got the phone number but no one picked up when I called.. It would be awesome to rent it out.. Will try again tomorrow.
