Manning referred to what he described as "feminised differences" in digit ratios in hospitalised patients, namely, the ratios of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th fingers.
According to him, it "supports the view that individuals who have experienced low testosterone and/or high oestrogen are prone to severe expression of COVID-19. This may explain why the most at-risk group is elderly males [who typically have low levels of testosterone]".
The professor stressed that the view is "significant because if it is possible to identify more precisely who is likely to be prone severe COVID-19, this would help in targeting vaccination […]"

The normal range of 2D: 4D ratios among males and females have been reported to be 0.947±0.029 and 0.965±0.026, respectively
studies have reported that maternal smoking during pregnancy elevates the prenatal testosterone and in turn is associated with low or masculine 2D:4D ratios in the children

For example, fetal testosterone levels are elevated in both males and females if the mother smokes during pregnancy, but are lower if the mother consumes alcohol. A mother may also expose her baby to more estrogen in the womb if she herself is exposed to a high level of “xenoestrogens,” chemicals that imitate estrogens in the body, and that are found in nearly everything – from plastics and gasoline to cosmetics and shampoo.

I measured mine. The ratio is .88-.91 area, depending on where you start measuring, which is above normal.
My mother DID SMOKE when she was pregnant with me. She was also a light drinker, occasional wine only.
Takeaways:
1) Smoking mother is good to make strong, manly boy with immunity boost.
2) Smoking mother is bad if you want a feminine, dainty woman child.
3) Non-smoking boozer mother is good if you want a feminine male child.
4) Non-smoking boozer mother is good if you want a feminine female
5) Manly men have larger ring finger lengths than indexes. The more difference, the manlier.
6) Younger men today are more likely to be feminine. Their mothers are less likely to have been smokers.
7) Younger men today are more likely to be feminine. Their mothers used products containing xenoestrogens.
