Hey if you live close I think its a great idea, I would also remind them that Thompson's Law firm is the one who fought to keep abortion legal.

I say yes... but keep Ron Paul out of it. Expose Fred Thompson for who he is

The National Right To Life Conference's decision makes as much sense as Pat Robertson endorsing Rudy Giuliani. They sound like they are beholden to the GOP party leadership. It's not about ideas and issues anymore.

This will blow up in their face.

No, I don't think we should. They have a right to endorse whomever, protesting their decision makes us look like whiners, and won't convince them to change their minds.

Now, politely contacting the leadership to explain the error of their ways is another story, however.

If you show up carry banners fronting as (unless it happens to be the case) simply hard-core pro-life folks who are livid at this betrayal.

My 2 cents.

I agree. This won't help us. It will turn the Pro Life People off to our candidate's name. Even though our candidate is the Most Pro Life of them all. This will backfire if we do this.

this is not a good idea, them endorsing fred is the best thing ever, divide and conquer :D

Leave it to Huck's supporters to do this. They're more PO'd than I've ever seen them.

First of all its great that they're endorsing Fred, it's freakin fantastic actually.

Second of all Fred has a similar position on abortion to Ron Paul. I don't know why you would want to protest the fact that they've endorsed a candidate who has said he opposes federal legislation to ban abortion.

Everything about this endorsement is good news minus the fact that it wasn't Ron Paul who got it.

I think that a respectfull display of dissent is appropriate. I think there has been enough press about thompson's history that protesting with Ron Paul signs can only be positive. I think if you argue that Ron Paul is more sincere in his stance, and point out the whole '4000 babies, never needed to perform an abortion' thing, this could come out very positively for us. Pro lifers who will pay attention to this sort of endorsement will listen to this sort of reason.

I say: go for it. Just protest CALMLY & RESPECTFULLY. No chanting. Hold a sign, pass out info, should go well.

It's all political. Screw them we have our own battles to win. We need to stop attacking every other conference. It isn't helping us get votes. From now on out we need to go out and convince people to vote for Paul not yell like a bunch of idiots at idiots.

Save protests for something meaningful. Most people don't care if you protest the Fed. People that are pro-life would INSTANTLY write off RP..

HORRIBLE idea. horrible.
