Well boys and girls. Tyranny just invaded putnam co tn. I just saw their very own battle tank pulling into town with police escort. At first I thought it was a feed truck. Very big and bulky. Then I saw it turret placements. It has well guarded wheel shields. The whole 9 yards. This on tax day when I need to pay the post office to deliver a check to the treasury.

Sorry I didn't get a picture I was driving. I though about calling 911 and reporting an invading army but didn't think that would go over well.

How did Putnam county, Tennessee ever survive over the past 160 years?

Maybe they can mount a 50 cal on the top and drive it around for compliance control. That'll intimidate the hell out of those freedom residents not showing enough obedience.

Such gun turret existed. Not sure if they had the gun mounted or not.

Did it have tracks? If not, then it isn't a tank. (Kind of wish our county department had a better armored vehicle. What they have now wouldn't do that well against the feds...)

Don't worry, your county doesn't plan on using it against the feds. You or someone you know however, might just be a different story.

Smells like freedom! Consider yourself lucky. Sherriff Joe has had a tank for years. Y'all are just noticing a trend that's been developing over the last decade+.

You are correct. It didn't have tracks. It was a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle. It was the tandem axel version but had wheel shield that look like an add on.
