Although I'm not sure whether it's Left vs. Right now, as much as it could be about those same brainwashed Conservatives vs. Ron Paul Republicans. They needed someone from their party with as big a following to overshadow the Ron Paul movement, & Palin fits the bill.

As I've said previously, the CINC shouldn't matter so much IF the balance of power was properly restored to the federal government a la the Constitution. Granted, the balance of power is both out of whack federally and via the 10th amendment. Now, we know the leadership of both parties is controlled and will only field candidates for the POTUS which continue to expedite their globalist agenda. So, let the bozos have their talking heads for POTUS. Sure, we can continue fighting the likes of Obama, Palin, McCain, etc., but we should also focus more on events under our control, e.g. Congressional and state candidates. If we can successfully get a number of strict constitutionalists in Congress by 2010, maybe we can be stopping the slide and eventually turn the ship around with even more candidates in 2012. With enough strict constitutionalists in Congress, hopefully the balance of power will be corrected by draining the executive of power.
