Ron Paul Wants Slavery Abolished in America

Is there value in pointing out to people that the income tax is slavery as the following article does? ( http://spirituallibertarian.blogspot.com/2007/11/ron-paul-wants-slavery-abolished-in.html )

It seems about 95% of Americans are dead set against slavery. If people begin to think in terms of the income tax being slavery, wouldn't they automatically support someone who campaigns on ending it?

Most people pay thier taxes not because they think it is good for the country but to keep from getting audited, arrested, fined, thrown in jail, everything they worked for house, car, retirement from being taken away.
