Ron Paul supporters this is what we’re up against!

Owe put 25 signs last week...there were removed by the GOP run township the next morning.....

We put up 25 more this week in another GOP run township...they managed to last 24 hours...

we'll be back next week!

We need 33,000 Meetup supporters to have the same attitude.

Wow- it's almost like they are asking you to spray paint instead. I'm not recommending that but don't they realize they're messing with freedom of speech? What a bunch of morons.

The local telephone poles are covered with signs for work-at-home schemes, yard sale signs, lost dogs etc.....

But the moment you hang up a Ron Paul sign the previously never enforced ordinances suddenly become activated.....

EXACTLY.. We've noticed down here max that if you put em buy say a local hot dog truck location that they stay up.. The only theory I have is that the powers that be THINK the hot dog guy did it and they dont wanna piss him off because they probably get hot dogs there. and the hot dog guy doesnt move it.. because he figures a customer of his put it up

Ok, this video just gave me an idea for a new sign. Signs that spray cyanide out of a thin membrane between the two sides when it is torn. You know, similar to the blue dye they put in the bags of money when people rob banks.

Lets see them tear those up:D

Hey, It would make me chuckle.............. but im a sick little puppy.

I use vaseline on the plastic signs. It really works and doesnt hurt the effect of the sign. If they touch it they wont like it one bit.

Used to use it for stopping kids jumping into my yard but with axle grease at the top boards.

razor blades are a bit extreme but also very effective. Thats a different trick for a different gig...:)

shouldn't be long before one of these guys tries to take down a Ron Paul sign on a supporter's property and ends up being shot

I say just whoop his ass really really bad. I dont think a guy getting shot in the name of Ron Paul would be a good thing for the campaign LOL

just my opinion.

at least wait till after hes elected before they do that.

If I had a sign in my front yard, and someone came in my yard and ripped my sign up, you better believe he's getting his ass handed to him, and he really can't say anything after the fact, because he was trespassing on private property, and I had to defend myself :D

Bring a ladder and a friend. Place your signs really high. High enough that whoever wants to take it down will have to literally risk his life to do so.

Before you leave, smear it with copious amounts of dog shit.

Placing them high will also insure better visibility. Make sure your sign is durable enough to last a few months and secure enough that it will withstand some pretty good winds and water proof so that it will last through rain.

Make a decent sign. You don't want a stupid looking Ron Paul sign with high visibility for months on end where millions of drivers will laugh at it every day on their way to work.

I am not saying this is the case, but is it possible there is a town ordinance that political signs cannot go up this early before an election? These laws are on the books so towns are not flooded with tens of thousands of signs a year before an election.

It is not about restricting speech as restricting the mode of speech. Can you imagine if all the millions of Obama supporters were putting up signs as well? Add to that Hilary and Rudy and all the rest and you can imagine the mess.

If, on the other hand, there is no law against it, then I would make the biggest stink I possibly could. I would go to the newspapers, the radio stations etc. But make sure you are in the right.

Otherwise, just sign up your cars. They can't object to that. Plus they move around and cover more areas.

On the surface I understand what you are saying but I still think this is about free speech.

The grassroots support we are seeing is so active because we are being ignored/forced out of the MSM. So again "they" are causing the situation. I don't think you can look at the sign issue by itself, it has to be looked at as a piece of the whole picture. And to be totally honest with you I don't care what the local laws are because due to the MSM's behavior they are no longer just laws.

And to look at this particular case I would say it cannot be a town ordinance causing this. The towns response would not be to tear up a sign and litter.
