Since I've been working to support the campaign, I've been frankly realistic about what I thought were the odds. My response has been to ignore them, because even if Paul didn't win, my feeling is that the Paul movement is just the tip of a larger discontent, and any work for Paul will just accrue to what ever battle would follow in the event of a loss for the campaign. So by that assessment, regardless of the odds, no vote, no time spent, is "wasted".
But things are happening fast, we see, almost out of control. Every day brings a new surprise. Just the past few days, my spidey senses have been off the chart about the campaign momentum. A couple of days ago, I wrote an article about how the velvet revolution in 1989 went down, what lessons we in the Paul campaign might draw from it. If you are interested, read it here. If you are so inclined, I'm interested in hearing people's comments or if there are any lessons to be learned that we can use to further the cause.
