Ron Paul, his organizers, supporters and DELEGATES have been smeared! Act NOW!

Ron Paul has been smeared once again, this time by a Washington candidate for the state legislature! What's most despicable is that the smear against him takes a back seat to a smear against a great conservative activist here in Western WA, as well as the smearing of his delegates and supporters.

The person responsible for the attack is a King County (Seattle area) GOP party hack, Ruth Gibbs. She was a losing candidate for the KCGOP Chair, after the previous chair became John McCain's WA coordinator. She also now works with the McCain campaign.

She took the time to research campaign staff, Ron Paul's supporters, elected delegates who supported him, all in an attempt to destroy a political enemy who happens to be a great local advocate for the Constitution and our general platform.

lucky me - i get to join her at the county convention tomorrow....

i sent her a note this morning complaining that the proposed county platform contained no message about reduced spending, and how that is something we can all agree is important. she's one of the district chairs that signed the draft.

doubt she'll be able to get to this by tomorrow morning.

My opinion: She's a fool that thinks government should tell people how to live their lives. I never saw a bigger religious zealot than her. wow. I just disregard all of her "points" because socialcons are irrational people and I never take irrational people seriously.

All in all that's a good piece - for reasons to support Ron Paul. Almost every point she makes a big deal of makes falls under the 'reagan' platform, traditional GOP, etc. But she does have the wrong spin on the facts, and ignores reason.

Some of the hot topics she obviously doesn't understand, or refuses to try to understand - such as RP's stance on many things like Abortion, marriage, etc being a state's right issue and not a federal issue. Or how RP can advocate being strong on our military while not being spread all over the world as a police force.
