Ron Paul Coming to Upstate SC Nov 1 & 2

Here is the schedule of events that are confirmed so far:

Announcing a new event for The Greenville Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group!

What: **Ron Paul at Grand Opening of SC Headquarters**

When: Thursday, November 1, 4:00 PM

Where: 402 N. Pleasantburg Dr. Greenville, SC 29607

Event Description: Ron Paul will make an appearance at the Grand Opening of the SC Ron Paul Headquarters on Thursday, November 1st at 4 PM. Come out and show Dr. Paul how much we support him, and also show the upstate who OUR candidate is!!!! We expect the media to be present, so a good turn out would be incredibly great publicity for him.

The Ron Paul Headquarter office is located on Pleasantburg Drive in the plaza beside Krispy Kreme.

We will hold a rally in the back and we hope to obtain permission to park in the Carolina First Center that is located behind the office. (Formerly the Palmetto Expo Center)

This is a great opportunity to show your support and see Ron Paul in person! We'd like supporters to follow him over to the Spartanburg GOP meeting following this rally!

We also would like volunteers to help with assistance in parking and other duties to help things run smoothly while he visits. Email Connie and let her know if you can assist in any way. (holding signs, parking, etc.)

man, I really wish we could get Ron to make the drive down to GA after the Nov. 1 event... I talked with the campaign, and they said he would be speaking around 7:00... It's like an hour and 45 minutes from their to Athens, GA. Our ronpaul rockfest will be that night... I know I should quit dreaming, but he hasn't come to GA yet... I bet we could get a couple thousand people from around the state up here and really cause a scene. It would be f'n incredible... We would raise a ton of money for our meetup group too... I'll just keep dreamin.. maybe one day he'll be able to come to UGA

I have to head to work in about 15 minutes, will be back on line about 1am.

Anyone with contacts in the area who can leaflet, get an announcement in the Clemson Tiger newspaper, or do anything else to promote this event, please do so.

I'll be working up a flyer tonight when I get home, but don't let that stop you from making better ones before I even get started.

I'm a Clemson student and we've managed to arrange for Ron Paul to come here and give a half hour talk followed by a half hour Q&A session on November 2nd at 1pm. Just to make this clear, this has all been put together by *students*, the University administration has not made any efforts of their own to get Paul to come.

We've started advertising it around campus and will be notifying all of the media in the area.

It should also be pointed out that he'll be in Colubia for a big rally at 7:00 pm and give a talk to a large student representatives meeting on saturday morning.

Though I don't know the details of where they're having it; somewhere downtown. I tried to convince Brian to schedule it on the statehouse steps but who knows how it'll turn out.

This is crazy.......why hasn't the campaign posted something on their website, better yet, why haven't they emailed people in SC to let them know of this event. I would have never known about it if it wasn't for this site.

The Clemson visit wasn't approved by the University until yesterday afternoon, so we're just now able to start promoting it.

Everything is happening VERY fast!

My guess is with all the advertising & campaigning & money he is raising, by the end of December we are going to be VERY happy with RP's chances and even see his poll numbers rise by a few points!
