Contract status from Heath as of 1/15 4:20PM CST: Contract fell through - I will be refunding everyone's money it will take me about an hour to process all of them. Give me at least an hour so that everyone that donated will get their money back. Thank You.

I will tell you what happened after everyone has their money back.

Old info:

This message and project is from the efforts of forum member heath.whiteaker.

He wrote: We are raising funds for the ad on Roy Jones Jr's back for the fight. The fight will be on the 19th and will be on HBO PPV. This is a HUGE fight. Read about the fight here

Like Ron Paul, Roy Jones Jr. has been very outspoken against the war in Iraq. This fight will be huge, the seats alone for this fight are currently going for $25K a piece.

The Trinidad vs. Jones domestic pay-per-view telecast beginning at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT will be produced and distributed by HBO Pay-Per-View and will be available in more than 61 million pay-per-view homes.

Any help that you can give is much appreciated. If you still have questions I can be reached by PM, or Phone 863-837-1032

There will be two chip-ins for this:

The first has been established by Heath and will be used as to send money to forum member AdamT's The American Liberty Coalition PAC. If the full $50K total (from both chip-ins) is not raised or no contract is finalized then the money will be refunded. The American Liberty Coalition PAC will source the funding to the boxer. Here is this chip-in:

The second chip-in will go directly to The American Liberty Coalition PAC. If the full $50K total (from both chip-ins) is not raised or no contract is finalized then the money will be used for other Ron Paul advertising projects as desired by the PAC. For sizable donations you may want to pre-arrange some details. Here is the second chip-in:

Any overage from a combined $50K total of the two chips-ins will be used for other Ron Paul advertising projects as desired by the PAC. In all cases, you must supply FEC info for $200+ donations which includes name and employer- this is standard for a PAC. The American Liberty Coalition has done some excellent work and was responsible for the winning CNN/YouTube debate commercial, "Something Big". See: http://www.alcpac.com. The $5,000 PAC limit applies as normal too.

Please note: RonPaulForums.com will never touch any of this money and thus has no control over it. It is suggested that anyone considering donating perform due diligence to satisfy any concerns they have.
Please use this thread to discuss due diligence issues: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=90037

Everyone is welcome to post questions but please keep them appropriate.

Loved the idea from the beginning.
As soon as heath provides proof that it is going down I'll send my moola.
GL to heath.

OK

EDIT: Found PAC on FEC site, anyone can verify (and always should) Search at:
http://www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/srssea.shtml
I entered "American Liberty" then look for "American Liberty Coalition".

Old message:
There's a "American Liberty PAC" with no information for 2008. But no "American Liberty Coalition"
http://opensecrets.org/pacs/index.asp
From the posts here it looks like this PAC has taken well over $3000 for things, so it should be listed on a database somewhere.
Anyone find anything else that's verifiable?
I hope Bryan calls Roy Jones' office direct to sort this out.

Edu, today i have seen you bash this PPV thing
the Nevada meet up group
the operation broadcast freedom group

How much is McCain paying you?

fyi, Heath also said:

Ok. here is what is happening. We are close to having a contract however. They are checking to make sure he will not get fined for having this on his back. After the Golden Palace incident they were talking about fines..... His manager is checking to see if those fines are in place now. If so I will ask about maybe a T Shirt or some thing on the back of the shorts

Just sitting idle right now

On the show he stated that the Jones camp is looking into charges that Ron Paul is a racist. He said they are in negotiations.

No deal has been made for anything at this point.

They would have no info on the PAC, or are you referring to something else? I have no plans to call at this time.
