Censorship Proven against Ron Paul on McLaughlin Group This Weekend

If anyone knows how to videotape the McLaughlin Group this weekend (July 27, 28, 29) and throw up the clip about ten minutes into the program onto YouTube - please do so.

The McLaughlin Group is hosted by John McLaughlin and airs weekly on PBS stations usually once per station on every Friday night or on the weekend.

We all know that legitimate news about Ron Paul is being ruthlessly and brutally censored by ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and FOX. The McLaughlin Group is also funded by some pretty big wig corporations run by the Ruling Elite. (McLaughlin himself, I believe, mentioned Ron Paul once in a quick aside a few weeks ago. That's been it.)

This week the McLaughlin Group panel was John McLaughlin, moderator; neo-con Tony Blankley to his immediate left; "paleo-conservative" Pat Buchanan to his far left; liberal Democrat Lawrence O'Donnell to his immediate right, and liberal Democrat Eleanor Clift to his far right.

About ten minutes into the program this weekend, in a dreadfully drawn out discussion about whether Hillary or Obama won the exchange in the CNN YOUTUBE debate this weekend on whether to meet with foreign dictators without pre-conditions, an apparently slightly bad edit revealed that those editing the final cut of McLaughlin group are also in on the suppression of Ron Paul.

REVEALING EDIT

About 7 to 10 minutes into the show, at the end of this ginned-up Hillary/Obama clash, McLaughlin turned toward Pat Buchanan and said (paraphrase): "When you look at the YOUTUBE crowd . . ."

You then hear Buchanan with a jocular but supportive tone say, "Ron Paul . . ." --- (This is exactly what Buchanan said, not a paraphrase.)

At that point there is an abrupt and clumsy edit and now McLaughlin is again on camera saying (paraphrase): "Who won this exchange between Hillary and Obama?" And then Buchanan answers that question.

It sounded from the tone of Buchanan's voice he was about to say with a laugh something like, "Ron Paul is winning the YOUTUBE crowd, John." Of course, this is exactly the type of sound bite that the Media Elite at the Big Media outlets does NOT want the public to hear.

Obviously these shows go a little longer than 30 minutes, and then the editors get to whack out any sensitive material, and/or enough material to cut it down to the show's allotted time.

I hope some YOUTUBE savvy person can get this up on YOUTUBE this weekend with a little commentary. PUMAMAN1 - are you there? (Pumaman1 put up the hilarious expose of the FOX news bias against Ron Paul after the first debate at the Reagan Library a few months ago. Search "Ron Paul Fox Debate Pumaman1" on YOUTUBE - I laughed so hard I cried - so funny was that one.)

And as I said yesterday.

This is something Ron Paul / his campaign needs to be publicly addressing. This isn't our fight. Yes we can be annoyed and talk about it here. However, it HAS to come from his campaign for the record to be set straight. As I said in another thread, Ron Paul is letting them walk all over him. If Giuliani was missed in a poll (or interview), he would be all over TV saying so. We just don't see RP doing the same thing and it's hurting him.

I think his campaign should be putting out a press release saying that there is no reason for him to be left out of polls and debates because he has been declared for months. He has a large backing of people and had more cash on hand than John McCain. Then if they still don't listen he needs to address this on a TV interview.

I had a few disagree with me and this was my response.

I disagree with all of you on this.

I think we spend too much time worrying about where he is excluded or what the media has said about him than actually getting NEW supporters.

Most of the posts on this site are about him being excluded, not getting fair time, being attacked personally, and not about getting new supporters to join the ranks.

Our energy is being channeled into the wrong places. If the main campaign took care of this, then we could do more.

I just sent a message to CSPANJUNKIEdotORG. He always catches this show so maybe he has a copy of it.

the awakening

some people are in truly difficult positions and i don't mean i take lightly the repetitive failure to stand up and tell the truth, but there is a rapid awakening going on and our job is to keep graciously inviting all people to join us in the ron paul revolution

invite them to stand up and go on record or work with us behind the scenes or just vote, but keep the doors and lines of communications open and the invitations going out

one of my best friends in the political process died last year and he would always tell me when i got bogged down in the difficult spot or rejection to 'shake the dust off your feet and move on'. it has proved remarkably sound advice, because many of the naysayers from a few years ago are fully on board with eyes wide open and standing tall this cycle. i expect a few more of them soon including some of the fredheads!;)

blessings to you all and let's keep our eyes straight ahead on the goal and move so fast they have to run to catch up. i am loving the energy on this board and having such a good time 'inviting' everyone i know to come go with us!

He wasn't censored, he was cut off by John McLaughlin, who didn't even realize that Pat Buchanan started to say "Ron Paul."

i don't think this was a coverup. this feels more like an edit for time due to subject matter, or a interruption of what was said. otherwise why would they have let ron paul's name get uttered for no reason. if anything it was another buchanon plug of ron paul out of nowhere, haha, which is nice.
