Ron and Rand make history tonight

Apparently, Ron and Rand Paul will be the first ever father-son combo in Congress with the son being in the Senate and the father being in the House. Thought that was interesting.

First (and only) father and son to serve in the Senate simultaneously: Henry Dodge of Wisconsin served in the Senate from 1848 to 1857, and his son, Augustus Dodge of Iowa, served from 1855 to 1858.
